Prepare for this one!  Let me list all of the things Sony has "flattered" Nintendo (and Microsoft)with so far....

1. Stolen motion sensing controller

2. Free Online

3. Similar in almost everyway online service to XBL

4. drum roll....their newest flatter... SONY HAS A PS3 VIRTUAL CONSOLE!

Yepp, you heard right, keep reading and I will edit this with more updates on the Sony TGS conference.

UPDATE: Rumor has it that you have to pay to play PS3 demoes in retailers....similar to an arcade machine *inserts a quarter*

Oh my God. Sony have to be the most selfish, dishonourable, disrespectful, giantcrabbish fleshbags in the electronic entertainment.

Come up with something of your own for once.

But yes, it's flattering.

wow - that's really typical. i wonder if they feel at all weird about the tings they do - internally speaking that is, like if the employees feel like they work for a company that has no qualms with blatantly using everyone elses ideas.

good for them, they need everything they can get at the moment. price cuts, vc, motion controller.....all they need now is a mario game.

I heard about the VC ALONG time ago, and all its for is PS1 and PS2 games, because from what I am guessing Blu-Ray can't play the old games

untrue, it already is back compatible with PS1 and PS2 games, so it defeats the purpose of a VC entirely

Wasn't sony really the first to do free online, not Nintendo, or MS? On the rest I agree, but the ps2 did have limitied online play (Though I'm not sure if it was free) so I'm not really sure if No. 2 really applys

thats true, and the only reason I had guessed that it wasn't backwardly compatible was because its a different format and it sounds like something Sony would do

Almost all true not sure whom launched free online first, but have to admit Nintendo is ripping of the Microsoft  dashboard too. Whatever though it's flattering to the creator plus its good for the consumer too.

Sony did do online for free but you needed to buy a modem first.

Its shocking that Sony hasn't got sued yet with such obvious rip-offs. It makes them and its fans look bad, too. AND the thing is a total rip off. £400? Xbox £280? Wii is £180. I wonder which one will be most popular...

I hate living in England. it seems no one knows about 'Wii' unless I spend an hour explaining the control scheme.

Everyone else, ''i cnt w8 4 da ps3 lol''. Why? Because they're a bunch of chav casuals who don't even know the price, and still believe PS3 has super online from anywhere in the world o.O

So I'm going to say, PS3 will be the most popular here. On the other hand, Wii is launching earlier here too.

how exactly do you figure that?  All of the current gen consoles have start up menus, there just isnt much there to configure.  Besides, the 360 uses the blades, and separates everything from Games-XBL-Settings-Music- etc. ....... Wii doesnt really organize that way at all.  Its all just scattered, and plus I dont think the menu they showed was the actual start up menu, because settings were nowhere in sight.

Hey do you think people in Canada are going wild about the Wii. They don't even know what the Wii is until I say "It's that new Nintendo with the motion sensored controller that looks like a DVD remote!"

Super online?...anyway...I think Nintendo should just keep everything locked away until a year from release date and then get all the third party representives (which would sign a contract saying that they will not breathe a word about the system except for the name.)Under a consiled location show them the system give them a year to make the games. Then blind side the public with a really amazing console that will have no sony copy cat! Oh also if they find anybody working as a mole for Sony they need to be floged with the systems control until they forget about everything they saw. ^_^

Pay to use a demo?! That will kill off many casual gamers! Oh well, I'm not complaining.
