I am currently in the Forest Temple, and I would say so far that this game is already better than all of the 3D Zelda's except OoT.... but if things keep getting better like they are now it could very well top OoT on my list :P
OK, I haven't got to log alot of time with it, I'm just before the first temple :( (whew!!!! I have ALL next week off!!!!!!!) but here's my thoughts on it so far:
very dark story, the most mature story so far, and i am really enjoying the direction
gameplay = sheer goodness, i love the Wii controls on this
graphics - i don't care what people say about the graphics, they are GREAT.
Just from the whole setup making it to where I am right now gives you the ominous feeling of how big this game truely is. I think this is going to topple OoT from it's perch.
I'm a good 12-13 hours into the game already and the dungeons are already spectacular, especially the 2nd one! (perhaps the most creative temple I have seen in a Zelda game other than maybe the Water Temple in OoT)
Also, I recommend tha everyone watch the new Zelda Retrospective that was just put up on I think Gametrailers.com (i could be wrong, I'm not sure what site it is). It describe the split timeline theory of what happens when Link goes back to his original time at the end of OoT. it is a very interesting theory, and sounds fairly accurate for the most part.

It's complete and utter bull. I've argued with many split-timeline supporters in the TP boards. They're full of crap.

I found a really great Zelda timeline once, and it wasnt split-timeline, and it seemed perfect. However, after a while of searching, I couldn't find it :(So far the game has had gorgeous grafics and playing as the wolf has got to be some of the most God awful fun i've ever had. Its ticked me off about a thousand times with me not knowing what i'm supposed to do though. All in all, friggin awesome and God i need to play more now!!JackKrauser04
QFT no doubt

Aonuma has since promised he will do his best to patch it all up and reveal the timeline someday, and Miyamoto stated in a 2003 interview that there is a master document containing the timeline, but this document has not been seen publicly.
So until I see solid timeline from Nintendo, I am not going to believe Aonuma's fatuous words. Miyamoto has also been wrong about the timeline before, you know.
I suggest you go to the TP boards in GC and read the stickied timeline topic if you want to be more enlightened about the subject.
