After seeing some of the games(or what will hopefully be on it) i'm really looking foreward to it. But do you get the virtual console controller included with the console? I have seen the press conference but i dont remember reggie saying anything about it being included. I cant wait to play all the old mario classics again on my Wii
No the classic controller is not included with the console in any territory. In the UK it is £14. I think there is a promo in the US. If you buy a certain number of Wii points you get the classic controller for free. I don't know the specifics of that deal because I live in the UK. There is a news article on it here on GameSpot somewhere anyways.

Aah, the infamous European VIP points. I think I have 11000 or so by now. The one time I spent any of them was when I got the chance to buy a DS Phat with a full version of Mario 64 and two demos (WarioWare and MP:H) for £130....a whole month ahead of the European launch!! I also got a black shirt that says "Touch me!" on the front and "Nintendo DS VIP" on the back. I save it for dates and game conferences :P.
Aaaaaaanyway......no. VC points aren't the same as the VIP points........ . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .....Yet. Hopefully Ninty will let us convert our points to Wii currency and let us download something besides wallpapers and mobile phone ringtones.
