I'm sad to say I've never played one, and the square pointy design looks uncomfortable. Could anyone explain the size roughly and how big the buttons are?

I was thinking something like a closed DS Lite.

Smaller than a DS lite and the buttons are a bit bigger than the DS buttons. It was comfortable to hold, I never had any problems with the pointy design.

I only played one a few times. But I don't remember being jagged by the corners. I think the side of the controller alligned with your palm nicely. The mega drive controller was comfier though. It had a nice cury shape to it. And yes I am a former Sega fanboy now cosying up to Nintendo!!!

^ Ah yes the Genesis... Did you have Jurassic Park? Man, I could never get past level 2...

Well, I've never had a NES... But, if you're among the fortunate few that does, or has the ability to get one, what're complaining about the controller fer? You've got a freaking NES! People pay 600 dollars for that sh-tuff!... I swear I checked on eBay!

yeah - it was more like the ds fat - except put only two buttons on the right side and make them bigger - very comfortable controller and extremely durable

Sigh... if i remeber correctly....
You held the controller pretty loosely, kinda like the lite, so you didnt have those corners really jabbing into you or anything... but I dont remember all too well... twas when i was but a child.

I find it a little uncomfortable now that am an adult because my hands have gotten big and it doesn't help with those damn right angles.

This is a shot of me holding the contoller...upside down.

The bottom right angles kinda poke into the meaty part of your palm below your thumb, so it doesn't really effect you at all. the top corners can have your fingers around the top so it doesn't bother you at all. This is the most comfortable way to hold the controller for me, but you can also hold it in many other ways...
But any way you hold it, it shouldn't bother you at all

I recently picked up one up off eBay with 10 games 2 controllers and the light gun for $50, my original one got stolen when I was like 10. But the controller is very comfortable. It's so small the edges don't really even touch my hands.

On a side note anyone who doesn't own an NES really needs to find one. How can you be in the evolution of NINTENDO union without owning or ever even playing the original that started it all?

Good, isn't it? :P It was my first review, however it's rather short compared to others. I don't like to make my reviews several paragraphs in length that overwelm the reader. I mean, how many times have you clicked on a review only to see pages of text and saying to yourself "Oh f*** that!" and clicking on back? A few paragraphs will suffice.

Pffft... Fanboy.

Honestly though; The first review I look for for a game are the negatives. Sometimes they make good points instead of just saying "THIS GAME IS THE SUXZORS!!!11!!11!shift1" or "THIS GAME IS THE ROXZPRS!!!11!!"

I normally look for the lower score reviews for a good game, rather than the good one's which all say the same thing. However, I'm not a fanboy if I like a game that any one sane would like XD.

Maybe it got confused between words like Biscet = Cookies, Bobby = Police Officer, or Holiday = Vaccation.
