well, final fantasy revived Square, who was about to go bankrupt, plus, it made lots of people become RPG fans.

I would definitely say Final Fantasy, and Duck Hunt would be a good one except gun games still aren't that popular.

I agree. The funny thing was it was meant to be their last game, hence the name, only it got so popular so much had been planned for it. After joining Enix, Nintendo and SquareEnix fell out, and so FF series was continued on Sony consoles rather than the N64. Otherwise, the battle would have played a lot differently. Sorry, another Evolution of Nintendo lesson. Sorta.

That's a tough one ! I really can't think of just one game or a compilation of games that were revolutionized by the NES. They ALL in one way or another revolutionized the gaming market.
