What's more fun? 1st or 2nd time...

Do you have more fun playing a game the first time? or do you find it sometimes more fun playing through the second time?

Sometimes I enjoy boss battles more the second time, and even the general game - since I'm less focused on gameplay and more on just the experience.....sounds odd to me....humph. Not taking anything away from the first experience of playing a game though - just saying sometimes I enjoy the second playthrough more than the first.

I like the first go through then the second or third. It's simialr to riding a coaster. No matter how many times you ride it, it is never a fun a thrilling as the first time you ride it. I guess it is because you know, at least some, what will happen.

I think the first time around is the best. You don't know what to expect or what's coming. When I play a game for the first time, I always have chills down my spine. The second time I play, I take the time to enjoy the game and appreciate the people who developed the game. The first time I play a new game there is a certain feeling of excitement that doesn't come every time after the first.

The fist time, I'll comlete a game for the sake of doing so. For example, I'd complete Metroid Hunters while skipping all enemies just to get the Blue Spiral, then, I'll play it all again while reading everything. The story of the Elders is great, it's just not many appreciate it anough to call MPH story mode good.

I would have to say the second time for me ! The first time you play a game your just trying to get a feel for the game and get use to it and figuring out how the controls work ect.....and it's not as stress full.The second time i play a game i feel that it's a little easier and a hole lot more fun ! Which is what gaming is suppose to be about having fun!

Very good thread anyway i think the first time is better because you sometimes get to parts on the second run and u know they will be voring and so you start procrastinating them, but in the case of better games i definatley think second run is better cause i actually like to appreciate the work of developers and completing a game 100%.
