Iit has come to my attention that the Wii is said to be released in/at Q4. now of course we all know that Q4 begins in the first of October, but will the Wii release then, or will it be a few days after? I really need to know. Wii all need to know. Oh, and what's with the controller containing Mercury? What's that about?
Q4 could go anywhere from the 1st of october to December 31st. We know iwata said that the wii will be released before thanksgiving, so that excludes december. We also know it will be before the ps3 launch, leaving either an early november release, or a likely late october release. Im not sure about the mercury thing, but i surely hope not! I really dont want to get sick from a controller :?
That sounds reasonable, I mean we realy need it launched before Playstation, after all, remember DS? Oh and about the Mercury, I don't know too much about it, but Warioware: Twisted may not be released here due to the Tilt sensor containing mercury, but that's the same tilt sensor for Wii...
I would have assume some time in October but no idea on a date,Will have to wait until September to find out for sure!I can't really see the Wii coming out in November cause that's when the PS3 is being released in mid Nov. and i think that Nintendo would be CRAZY if they decided to go for a Christmas Launch !
Nintendo probably knows that it would be stupid to even try to launch the wii even remotely close to the ps3's launch. It would be better for them to get the wii out in the public before everyone begins to talk and focus on the ps3
Really? I would have expected everyone liked the name by now. I personally love the name. It's quick, easy, and sexy. At least it's not Playstation 724 or Xbox 5067 >_>
I definatley think they should launch b4 ps3 but it sadlly does not seem like it will happen because we ae still missing final hardware specs, price point, and release date which are a huge deal to new comers at least.
