:| I have to agree with the TC that i personally prefer the FFX yuna. Perhaps, i first knew yuna in FFX, and that is who i believe to be the truer yuna. X-2's yuna has quite a lot, and it doesn't seem all too real for me after. The X Yuna feels more genuine, in my opinion

FFX was a much more in depth game....the story and development was much deeper....X-2 was not all i hoped it would be...it felt like charlie's angels man. As for Yuna i liked her in X just because it was a better game and i felt for her more you know the whole final summon thing. Although she was more fun 2 look at in X-2, X was much better

I like FFX Yunas personality more.  She showed what she was really like it that game.  Which was a quiet girl, who only showed her fun side when Tidus was around.  Although, I did like FFX-2 Yunas cloths and looks more. :P

FFX. Deffinitely. In X-2, she was everything that I didn't like about Rikku in FFX, and Rikku was even worse

I like  the X-2 version better. Yuna was much more independent. She didnt need a bunch of body guards following her around. And she was the first FF character that could jump on command.(Dragoons dont count cause they only jump in battle.)

I liked Yuna in them both anyway. Its kinda hard to compare the same character, I guess you could say she had a split personality. I think I liked her second personality more (X-2) she wasn't so depressed all the time and she seemed to be more fun to use. She found her job more fun to do in X-2 but in X her job was to......(SPOILER if you haven't played the game) die. I can understand why she was depressed a lot. I liked her in X (my favourite character) but she was much better in X-2 and she could sing superbly lol.

i liked FFX-2 Yuna better cause she dressed more casual and cooler, she pretty much wore what any normal girl in Spira shouldve been wearing and setting that fashion trend

FFX Yuna. I liked her better with longer hair, prim and proper. Her personality in FFX-2 took a lot of suspension of disbelief.

yesh yesh... someone who stands on my side with what i believe in. That's my whole point. Yuna transformed 360 degrees... or at least, 270 degrees, and that isn't what i want her to be like

I think that yuna from ffx was much more tollerable then x-2. Yeah a get the whole free spirit girl power deal with x-2, but it didn't have to be so annoying imo.

I really didn't like her character at all to be honest. But it has nothing to do with the development of the character, but I just really didn't like her personality, and her dialogue. I think it was that god awful Tidus and Yuna laugh scene that ended it for me. Plus in X-2, I don't remember exactly what it was that she said, but I actually turned the game off, and put the controller down after one thing Yuna said it was that bad for me.

yeah, some lines in that game can make you think" is this yuna?". the only time in X-2 where she became her former self was her speech in front of vegnagun after saying" i dont like your plan, it sucks".

But she was forced to act in a way that befits a summoner, in FFX-2 she seemed freer and much more comfortable.  But just my opinon.

How does one go from wearing long-skirted kimonos all thier life to hot pants in just after two years?

Until, Squeenix can properly answer that question, I'll just assume they designed Yuna(X-2) from the ground up independent of and with disregard of any feelings and mentality of the original Yuna, all for the sole purpose of fan service(read: sex appeal).

It's not unexpected for the persona of Yuna to have changed over the years after an event like that in FFX. The new upbeat and cheerful spirited personality maybe a bit of a stretch, but was still albeit believable. However, they went too overboard in trying to portray that new persona with her new image. I didn't mind the new hairdo or the attire for the torso, and the half-skirt(or whatever it's called) was pretty symbolic as it represented the change of her persona. But, then when I get to the hot pants, it caused me to raise my eyebrow in question. If, Squeenix, really wanted to display her image and personality correctly, why not use something like a pair of jeans? A tight-chic pair of jeans would have been much more effective, as it would have portrayed the persona of Yuna(X-2) with full effect, without the downgrade appeal that comes hand-and-hand with a pair of hot pants.

So that leaves me to wonder why Yuna was never put in a pair of jeans... Oh wait! ...Now I remember... apparently, SquareEnix forgot girls could wear pants.

Definitly Final Fantasy X Yuna. I liked her hair a lot in X-2, but not the rest of her attire. Her attitude was more independent, but also less genuine.
