I don't think I cried, but I was absolutely stunned and in disbelief. Largely in disbelief.  I continued playing in the hopes that she'd be brought back somehow.
I also continued playing with hopes of her coming back. I know one guy who didn't want it to happen so he just stopped going through the story. He is level 99 for all his characters on Disc one.
I didn't cry, it was somewhat shocking, but I really was more annoyed that you couldn't bring her back, especially since they almost hint at it. And then there were all those useless rumors about it.
I didn't even get to be surprised!! I didn't actually have a playstation when it came out, but my neighbor did, so basically I made myself a saved game at his place and went over every day. Obviously he was always ahead of me in the game, and one day I come over and he tells me what happened!!! Completely spoiled it for me :(
I was expecting it becuase someone killed it for me when they said it was the greaest FMV of video game history. But . . . just before t happened I was like, when Cloud was being controlled by Sephiroth and was goin to kill her himself, I was getting scared at that point and when it happened . . . I was like . . . crap . . . I lost my Status Ring!!!
AHAHHAA, lost your status ring, now that is funny. Why care that Aeris is dead, that status ring was what really mattered right. AHAHAHAAAAA TheOdinson
I cryed so hard when she died. I had a huge huge crush on aeris when i was alittle kid. I was about 8 or 9 Â when this game came out. I coulden stop crying. then after the long minutes of pain i felt like sephiroth was an uber pimp-tastic badass. he will do what must be done. nothing slows him down. kill anything in his way.
I was stunned, actually, stunned. I didn't know she died. The her music started and it got me in the heart. The battle with her music worked really well.

How was that battle hard? It was really easy for me......
now its easy but the first time my depression at that moment stopped me focusing and she used that move aqua lung.
the boss should have been harder i had to make my self die so i could watch it again its s funny
anyhow im looking foward to laughing at in it PS3 graphics
not an aeris liker then. i guess i could laugh because i have seen it many times and the sadness is going but she is still my fave girl in the series. you might like her in the ps3 version because theres more depth and looks.

Doubt it im a devoted Tifa fan on seven and she's second only to yuna
tifas cool and better looking but i have a small resentment because she shouted at red xiii telling him to be strong while aeris said it nicely to cait sith. i guess i prefer aeris because she died and was different.
She's cool in Kh2,too.But I'm still a big aeris fan as you can tell.aeris101

thats the only problem with aeris, weak and sometimes annoying. but her magic is good and i think she is the real herione of ffvii though tifa takes that role later on.
