ive never finished an ff game before and i have atleast 5 of them so yea its a problem for me because i have school and alot of other crap to do and cant seem to find time to spend more than 3 hours playing a game and im only 16 should i be ashamedGatCloudX

you are lucky you haven't finished one yet because you don't have to go through the feeling of dissapointment when you realise you need to get another game to play that through.

no game is the same second time round as you already know the ending.

Having played a FF game and owning more than one goes to show your effort in trying to play and recognize a FF game.

This is more dignified than anyone else who claims to know everything about FF although they have played some or all FF games before.

I've got all of the games and I'll tell u my progress in each one ^^

Note: There might be spoilers here, so if you didn't play a game, then don't look hmmkay.

Here goes.

FF I: On my way to get the 3rd crystal. (Water)

FF II: On some random port town where you have to catch this ship.

FF III: Dragon's Peak

FF IV: Just after Cecil becomes a paladin.

FF V: Got Fire Crystal shattered, now gotta head for Earth.

FF VI: I still remember erasing my data last time, but anyway I'm in WoB (gotta save Terra from Zozo)

FF VII: Finished

FF VIII: Lunatic Pandora in Disc 3

FF IX: Finished

FF X: Finished

FF X-2: Finished

FF XII: Gotta go to Giruvegan (I got the game recently u know and the marks are slowing me down a bit :P)

And that's pretty much all of it, so what you do is, pick only 1 or 2 games to play, finish them, then move on. You'll never finish them if you keep playing all of them at the same time.

You must secure your copy of the game though... what if something crazy happens and he/she doesn't have to go to school for like a week and is stuck at home? I bet he'll beat one or maybe even two of them, then he will not be sorry he had the others ;)

FF X-2 was a fine game, just a little different from the others....as is the case with FF XII.

I guess a couple of you don't like having something that is not quite made out of the same mold as the rest:?

I found them to be at least a bit more challanging, until i got accustomed to the differences from the others

unlike DoC which was too easy because of ITS difference.

No, they thought it was decent, so they decided to make a bad game to destroy it. Honestly, X begins with the destruction of a civilazation, which was awesome. X-2 started with a pop concert. Also, the story was BORING. Interactive movie > game with little sequences that move the plot along. Characters were AWFUL. At least X had Auron, a good version of Yuna, and a good version of Wakka. Paine was a pathetic excuse for the tipical tom-boy character and Rikku was like an underaged hooker. Yuna was like a drunk college girl.

FFX has a great story! The background story was just crazy good!
The gameplay was fun, the lvling system was just brilliant! The character, or most of them were great!

Sure it allowed good customization(Tactics has the best though), but the constant drawing spells was extremely tedious. And it was the most broken system. If you play cards in the beginning for a few hours, you can get some really good spells you won't find until disc 3.

The JUnction system is really fun i got used to it in like the first ten minutes i thought it was awesome drawing spells isnt that tedious and its better than mp. Using GFs as a kind of armor to like better your characters is cool its like pulling a sould over yourself instead of armorGatCloudX

I disagree. MP is better because if you use it a lot, it won't lower your stats. I completely stopped casting magic at the end of the 2nd disc to keep my stats up.

GFs were cool but some took way too long. It got annoying.

Well, I used spells occasionally, i would use them more in boss battles, and rarely in regular battles. i always do this in FF, though, so I have no issues with it.

I guess we can throw in tactics as well. I haven't played any other spin-offs so I wouldn't know :P

MP is better. I never casted spells in FFVIII for that exact reason. Although I still cast aura because that was overpowered.
