Metal gear is over rated. The First one was awesome, but the second was repetitive and the third was not so good.

i would actually think mario is the most overrated game. but i can't stop playing it. lol. although FF is the best in my heart. :P lol. MGS comes straight up after my favorite FF. Great music, great story, i really love MGS and FF. Zelda... i'd better get back into it.

Come to think of it, i've played Tom Clancy's splinter cell and ghost recon a lot, do i count as a shooter-liker?

Warcraft is too addictive for me to make it my favorite, i'll have no life if i play it.

No way am i gonna play RE. uhhh... *pukes* Would people believe i actually play madden and GTA? sometimes, i can't believe i actually played those games too. :? They're so not me.

I never played Madden nor Tom Clancys games....well just Splinter Cell, :P

But Resident Evil is a great saga too, one of my favorites along with Metal Gear, Zelda, Silent Hill and FF. I feell they forgot about Castlevania anyway :)

Overrated !? You can't say that, it's the best!

I missed Gran Turismo on that list, it should be there, it's one of the best selling series/granchise !

Whether or not you acutally liked it does not make it any less innovative. The fact is that I just showed you 3 games that are innovative from the series. OF course you blew them off. You can't accept it when you are wrong. Nooooooo. Not you. Never. Frickin child.

no,here is an example of an innovative game ff12 that was innovative or better yet resident evil 4.those game completely redesigned the series as we know them.so those castlevania games ware'nt innovative but symphony of the night was because it was the first game to feature that metroid hybrid style.the rest of the games just did a copy and paste with minor changes.

RE4 redefined suyrvival horror, but if you honestly think it was the first third person shooter ever, then you really are just as dumb as you seem. I sgave you examples of innovative castlevania games. Saying the series doesn';t innovate is a flat out lie because IT HAS. named 3 games where it has aqnd you chose to blow them off.

P.S. SOTHN wasn't innovative. Ever heard of YS III?? Facepalm

Innovating means doing something new. IT does not mean doing something new for the series in specific. You used innovative incorrectly. Jesis. Type carefully before making a fool of yourself MBX.

They did innovate because they did something new as a whole.

Final Fantays XII did something new. Resident Evil 4 did not do anything new. It did something new for the series, biut that is not innovating.

It cannot be innovative becayuse everything it did had been done in games before it though. Reguardless of whether or not those features were new to the RE francise, they are not new, thus they are not innovative.

There is no such thing as being innovative to a specific franfhise. A game is either innovative or it is not innovative. RE4, while being a masterpiece and a well redefined survival horror game, is not innovative. You are wrong. Get over yourself. IF you throw out one more flame, I am closing this thread for good.
