I mean, most of us would have played the PSX versions of these remakes, ya?

What actually motivates us to go buy these remakes?

Why are we actually hyped about remade games? Some of us already know the story, the characters, there's really nothing that drives me to play these remakes....

PS: FFV Advance got some new artwork revealed..

yeah, i guess. Havne't played the old games:( I tryed to find them but nah:cry: And i don't have a DS:( So i can't get them now either:( so sad:(

I'm trying to get them but they cost a bit of money ,like FF8 brand new would set me back 60-80 nz dollars I did see FF5 online once that sold  (2nd hand) for like 100 dollars and I never seen FF3 ,4 and 6. And I think it was luck that I got 1 and 2 for $10. and 9 well I think i'll get that next cause that goes for 20 to 50 dollars.

Who wouldn't buy a game with a history like Final Fantasy? Every good gamer has played at least one, so once you play a Final Fantasy game you will become a fan and then you will start buying every game that you find, cause every Fantasy is defferent and unque, so you have to try everyone to see what a FF has to offer. :D

I have a DS. Originally got it for Castlevania, which was worth it. I have FFIIIDS fully paid off though. I do not have FFV or FFVI reserved, however. My top priority is hte PS3. MEtal Gear Solid 4 ya know

Whether its a waste of money or not. It really just depends on how much of a hardcore collector you are or how much you love the game.

It's obvious remakes don't often sell as much(except for FFIII DS, but that's like pratically a whole new game now), but I suppose I'll get one or borrow one to see how it's like, just for the heck of it.

no it wouldnt it only cost 15$ to get ffviii off amazon.com they got all of them for 20 and under except for vii because its popular

i agree completly, i love FF, and i love remakes (when there good) i'd get them any way, im a hardcore collector and luv games espacially FF games. i mean who woundn't buy ff7 for the PS3.
