FF Wii or PS3?

I am a hardcore FF fan, and yet I am faced with a crisis...whether I should front the cash and buy the PS3 or buy the cheap Wii which appears 2 get FF titles in the future although they are likely 2 get the "kiddy" FF unlike PS3 which appears 2 be getting the mature style FF games

I am just wondering if you think it is worth the money for the PS3 ...I can afford it easily...but is it worth it?

As long as it is good, it could come to the Atari Jaguar for all I care.The only thing I don't want is a cell phone gamefs_metal

What it really comes down to is can you afford the PS3...the majority of Wii fanboys cant, therefore they tick to Nintendo, however the Wii has failed to impress me even, despite its low pricetag the games and gameplay are repetitive and it lacks the addictive gamplay that we see in other games, in an attempt to incorporate the control, many of the other gameplay functions have suffered, I have witnessed this myself after playing for 4 and a half hours while trying out a handful of Wii release titles, from Wiisports to Zelda TP .....my conclusion....there is NO way in hell I will buy the Wii, if I want to play Tennis I will do it in RL, plus somthing many gamers should consider is whether their house can accomodate the space for the user to play the game, additionally the graphics rival those of the N64 (well not really but the gamecube apparently has displayed similar if not greater graphical power in the new titles) .....my advice to any RPG fans ...or anyone who currently likes there PS2 ...dont buy Wii, you will be disappointed...(and dont forget, dont judge on first impressions, this system doesnt reveal its problems untill later).....hope this was helpful ....now I just have 2 make sure my TV will give me good resolution before I buy a PS3 :D

Id really hate to think what they would try to do on the Wii. The thought of swinging that remote like a sword to fight a tonberry makes me cringe.joeadonis1

Maybe... we can expect something like this for FF Versus XIII on the PS3, since it will be an action game. There has got to be something SE can do to utilize the six-axis, and don't tell me there could be a mini car-racing game for that function.

Wii is awesome. The only thing better than FF on Wii is FF on Xbox 360 :PDarmi

360 kool, but Wii omg no....its like they took a step backwards in gaming, you know all those kiddy games that you buy that are like arcade games, (like the one where you plug it into your TV and you shoot stuff on screen with a plastic gun, or some old skool boxing game) THAT IS WHAT TEH Wii is, a step back....no a leap

The Will will get Crystal Chronicles. The first game in that series was a good onefs_metal

From what I have heard it was pretty crappy....however I havnt played the game myself and cant judge...than again it is much more FFIX style from my understanding...so I doubt I would like it (FFIX prolly better)

I found CC to be very poor. I never played the multiplayer but, seriously, who has 4 friends each with their own GBAs, an interest in FF and a GBA link cable each? Two of my friends have GBAs, neither like Final Fantasy. I do not know anyone else on the planet who has one. Even if you do, someone has to hold the crystal or something. Why couldn't they have just used GC controllers?Darmi

I dunno how much money you have but I'm lucky if I get one game per month. Not going to spend that on a hand held I don't really need.Darmi

Golden Sun was so damn good....I mean you could carry your characters over to the next game...you could do anything....they had summons...materia like dijnin system......all the elements of FF.....lighthouses of ancient power....and sum sick enemies....however the first Golden Sun had better villians....wherent they supposed to make another one? like after the second...

One is tradtional RPG....one action
