FFFU Banner Competition 2009: Submission / Rules Thread

RULES:

1. One user can submit a maximum of 4 banner images for this competition.

2. The deadline for submission will be 15TH OCTOBER OF 2009.

3. During every voting event/stage, only one vote per member is taken into account.

4. All published results are final,all appeals / complaints will be ignored.

5. All submitted images must be made by the participating user. Any infringement of other users' copyright will be dealt with severely.

6. The pictures in the submitted banner images can only consist of pictures that are related to Final Fantasy.

7. All banners must have words to represent the Final Fantasy Fans Union. e.g. "The Final Fantasy Fans Union, Final Fantasy Fans Union, etc.

8. All Entries should match the size 760 x 140 pixels in size, but there is no limit to how large the file size can be, just try to do it below 1Mb if you can.

9. The images submitted can be of any graphically readable format. (e.g. JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP)

10. For further enquiries, please send a PM to the Competition Master or any of the union's Administration Officers.

Frequently Asked Questions:

First and foremost, please read the RULES carefully.

1. How do I submit the Signatures into the contest?
Just post a new post in this Submission thread, with the images you wish to submit into the competition. If you happen to have a name for the image you submit, label it!

2. Must the submitted images consist of my own name/user id/nickname?
Im sorry but the submitted Banners should have the "Final Fantasy Fans Union" name on it, later we will do a signature competition where you will be able to do so.

3. What software can I use to create the images?
Any digital imaging software can do, a person who has mastered PAINT can do a good job too. If you really have no idea which software you can use, GIMP is a free imaging software you can download and try out. (Try googling it!)

4. Can I use different images from different games in one single image?
Yes, and No. You can only use images from FINAL FANTASY titles, and one single image can consist of images from different FINAL FANTASY titles.

5. Is there a Judging Panel? Who are the judges?
There is NO judging panel. Only voters. All members of the FFFU can vote for or against any image, complying with the rules according to each voting stage.

This FAQ section will be constantly updated, should there be a need to.

Here are my 4 submissions. I apologize in advance if they seem a little simple as it was my first time using GIMP when I made these.

I am new to this competition, thanks to angelbless for telling me that my banners are good andI should participate.

I made a couple of banners, well I made them a while ago about FF but I just added the Final Fantasy Fans Union text with some effects to the text :P

I'd go as far as proclaiming this as my best work to date. If this doesn't win I'm taking it for myself >_>;;
