LOL, well ANYWAYS now that you have said your 2 cents worth... wasn't FFXII the best game a minute ago in your posts?
Of course FFVI is good but I personally like FFVIII better, sorry guy. Why do you always try and down other people's opinions? Is it cause you really think you know everything?

Nope./ You just don't pay enough attemtion .FFVI has always been my favoriteI loved final fantasy 12. I couldnt stand final fantasy 8 . Six was good but not as good as 12. I would say its a toss up between 7,9.10, and 12 being the best final fantasy games huskerman34
I liked 7 better than 8 and never got to finish 9 *sigh* but it was awesome so far. I also liked 10 better than 8.
[QUOTE="DJ-Lafleur"][QUOTE="faraz-azar"][QUOTE="joemai"]^ so where do you put 9? and 8?fs_metal
didnt play em XD
You should! :o
Well IX atleast...well, definetely play IX, yes...give VIII a shot...
What did you play ff6 on? because when i played it on the ps1 i didnt like it too much, but when i played it both for the snes and its GBA remake...i somehow enjoyed it much more...:?joemaioh! i got thefinal fantasy anthology for ps1 so yeah it's for ps1.
I liked VIII's gameplay...DJ-Lafleursame here dj,the junction system was pretty innovative.and squall is an amazing chracter.
well, thats how you think of squall i saw him as a young youth with to many problems in his life.and thats what mad squall awesome and he was relistic like.and the draw system was awesome along with junctioning magic.MASTERBLADEXThe whole basis of the draw system is repetition. You do the samne thing over and over and over again. Bad bad bad idea.
Young youth is redundant.
Squall oozed te3en angst, which is why he sucked

that goes for every other final fantasy game as well you have to keep equiping and learning or setteing up magic, skills, etc,etc teens hero's are repetitive but that's what the jpn rpg crowd want.so why fix what ain't broken? and like i said before squall only sucks to you he is actually more liked more then per-say vaan from ff12 in the online community.[QUOTE="fs_metal"]The whole basis of the draw system is repetition. With the draw system, in order to get magic, you have to hit 'draw' and then the spell over and over again whilke enemies beat the tar out of you. That;s just stupidSquall sucks. HE is bland and generic
you don't have to draw every single time you do know that right? just because you made the system redundent does not not make the junctioning bad.and squall only sucks to you there are pretty more bland protagonist's in the ff series.MASTERBLADEXThe fact is that it is based on redundancy, and that is just stupid. It was an extremely poor decision gameplay wise
No there aren't. Squall is as bland as they get

All of those are better characters than Squall.
Every battle system can get repetitious at times. It's not like you had to draw that much, anyways, you could get through VIII perfectly fine without doing alot of drawing. VIII's is either a "love it or hate it" system, it will appeal to some, not for others. Some will like it for it's great level of depth in customization and it's uniqueness, some won't like it for it's repetition if you are trying to get a really powerful group.
I would agree that Squall isn't anything fresh or different as far as main protagonists go, but It was still interseting to see him grow throughout the story, for me at least.
If you wanted a good amount of spells, you did have to draw alot, which was incredibly boring. IT was a poor gameplay decision. You know it. I know it. Everyone knows it. Did I ever say it was never boring? Sure, drawing could get boring if you do it alot, so can pretty much anything else after a while. Trying to get LP for spells and weapons in XII certainly got tedious after a while. FFII's system for magic was just tedious period, if you wanted magic actually worth using. Trying to get spheres in X could get really repititious if you wanted many spells (and I'm talking good ones). Trying to get great spells in IX certainly was alot of work, as well as VII, and to get many spells in VI=many battles.
I any game I can think of, if you weant a great quantity and/or quality of spells, it would always require some work, and it usually gets boring. If you just play through VIII or any game without worrying about getting hundreds of spells, it won't be boring.

fFI IS better than FFVII
FFI is better than FFVII, at least the one on NES, which was much harder than all the other remakes of it. At least FFI is challenging.
