i think this game will be absolutely amazing. It certainly looks like it's going to be really really deep. And tragic. And everyone loves sad stories.

For one, i'm actually more hyped about FFVSXIII more than anything, ever, even FFXIII itself doesn't seem as cool as FFVSXIII ! Could be the best action game ever!

You said it. It looks outstanding and yes, the deep , tragic stories in Final Fantasy are the one thing that keeps every Final fantasy in our hearts. :)

I like how he's all calm and looks bored. Then gets up and is prolly thinking something like "I guess its time to kill another 300 soldiers" I happen to really enjoy the song thats playing.

Graphically, it is beautiful. Still that same anime style that all Nomura projects use, though (which is not a good thing). I love the fact that they are doing a story centered around the Crystals. They are the best FF plot device ever, but this game has me worried because the people that are making it are yet to prove that they can do a game with the depth required in a good FF game. I also worry for the story. Lets face facts. The first KH story is a little bare bones. What's there is pretty good, but the entire story could have been told in a game shorter than Metal Gear Solid. Don't even mention Advent Children. It's plot and dialogue were aweful. They just served as an excuse to get to the next poorly choreographed fight scene. The story to Chain of Memories is quite a bit better, however. It also featured 2 well developed characters in Axel and Namine, so there might be hope for this project yet. That being said, CoM still lacked the depth of a good FF.

As for the actually trailer itself, it was.....a little boring, to say the least. It was like watching Fortune on the bridge in MGS2 all over again, only nowhere near as cool

I have to agree with fs_metal here. The trailer was very boring. Really hasn't got me interested in the game.

I didn't like it at all XD I thought it had the same plot which is inspired by other FF games. It also has the same character modelling which is also in other FF games. Same battle system ass kingdom hearts. I'm really not into this same old thing games it feels like they're toying with gamers selling them the same old content in new and shiny boxes.

Well it's kinda what i love with FF! But i do not think they will have the same battle system as in KH! Thats taking it to much!

I think it's like the battle system in FFXII now, only what we see on the train is when we meet many soldiers. And the only diffrence is that the fight goes on for a longer time. And i was thinking that what we saw in the trailer wasn't the battle system at all...

Okey i started to think! We haven't seen any sign of the battle system in this game..Only in XIII:P

Its FINAL FANTASY. Of COURSE its gunna be the same style. Its the style that we all know and love. I mean, really, what else do you want them to do? I never really understood that. They could dramatically change the art style. Then what is it? Its something completely new. So why call it Final Fantasy? They wouldn't. Thats when they make games like Valkyrie Profile. Different art, characters, story, etc. -shrugs- Anything its a trailer. They're just giving you a little bit of something. As time goes on you'll find out more. I think the graphics look great, and this new despair theme IS new. Id rather watch this little trailer and "oo and ahh" at the graphics then not see anything at all.

Yeah I think of other RPGs in the market then think back of final fantasy, it's still at the top ;)

Yeah! So true, i think we will see a longer trailer soon. This is pretty smililair to the MGS4 trailer. We saw a small trailer, and later on they gave us a longer one. And this trailer ends in a way that make it great for a longer trailer!

As for the battle system, I kinda see a CC connection, seeing as how it is supposed to be action orientated.

I actually didn't think it was boring, it was very mysterious, I loved the gloomy feeling you have when you watch it, anxiously expecting what will happen next. I loved it when I watched it for the first time and now I'm still loving it.

lol. somehow, the trailer images don't get into my head as easily as the song. Composer is Yoko Shimomura for the main game, not sure who wrote this vocal theme though.
