So I'm not sure where he got the news, but it looks as though Square will be re-doing the lip syncing for the English version!

Yes, this does mean that there will NOT be dual language options:( But, for the first time ever, they will be resyncing the lips for the ENTIRE game so that the lips and dialogue match perfectly!

I'm sure those who have played X, XII and watched Advent Children in English have seen what happens when you try to match English audio with Japanese video.

I thought that was already done in Crisis Core. I mean, the english words in CC seemed to have matched the lips almost perfectly.

i never really noticed it in 10 and 12 really i mean you can see it hear and there but not a lot to bother me. but if they are going to do the lips then it is a good thing.

I couldn't care less about the japanese audio. I generally prefer english dubs even if they seem pretty bad. But considering this is a ps3 game, I bet they'll go and pick some exceptional english voice actors.

This is gonna take some time to perfect. I couldn't careless about whether it's mixed language/subtitles. If english is our main language then we should accept the fact of hearing what's there rather then dismissing it for subtitles =/
