List which character you thing was most original and give a lil description why if you plz :) (preferably a central character, villians are ok...... , by this I mean like no Wedge and Biggs or characters that show up for two seconds than die lol)
Personally, although he isnt by far my favourite character....Cloud....his design was new, he brought a trademark...as dumb as it may be... gravity defying hair ......his story was good ..... ****kinda spoiler within Stars....he was one of the things he sought to destroy, had the whole background life, the love triangle thing....although the triangle was kind of based on how you played the game...which makes him also unique permitting the player to enter his persona.....the mercenary thing, although kind of old was nice, along with the fallen/ex soldier aspect.....*****
.he had a HUGE sword which became kind of a thing in later FF where the sword had to be unique to the lead  (except for FXII), he also slapped Sephiroth silly and had the whole split sort of self conscience ego.....also the memory alteration was a nice touch.... overall I think he was well done....and brought great change to the FF series
