Most significant NPC in a FF

We talk about main characters and all...

How about a Non-Playable Character [NPC]?

Which NPC in FF is so significant that you remember him/her/it so well? And, what makes him/her/it stand out from the millions other NPCs around?

:D AND, please do not include chocobos and moogles and random enemies [e.g. monsters].

Id say the Cids. They are in all the titles and they give you airships. That significant enough for me.

The Cids cannot be a correct answer because some of them are playable. I thought Beatrix in FFIX, but she is playable for a very short while *shrug*fs_metal

NPC anyone? suddenly, an image of Lucrecia appears in my head. :roll: I don't know. I think she posseses some kind of mysterious quality, as a woman, in her. I actually think that she's cool and umm...cool. Maybe she's you-know-who's mummy. I don't know what to say about Lucrecia, but i really am "interested" to know more about her.

Bugenhagen. He was weird but he was an important part of the game, and he looked after the huge materia, gotta thank him for that. ILuvCharmed1s

And, I think jordina's right about lucrecia. It's the aura that fills the air around her. That's it! Mysterious, yet, charming with her beauty. It's really unique
