Ashe Vanalgan Dalmasca

Age: 19
Height: 1.65m
Race: Hume

Description:
Ashe is a determined and independent princess fighting to liberate her kingdom, Dalmasca, from the ARchadian Empire. She was the sole heir to the throne, when her father and eight of her brothers were sacrificed during the Archadian invasion. She seeks not only freedom for her kingdom, but also revenge on the Archadian invaders and general Basch, who has assasinated the king during the chaos. She used an alias "Amalia" when she first met Vaan. Married to Rasler, [the guy you see in the parade in the trailers...], who died shortly after the marriage, Ashe was widowed young.

Fran

Age: - unknown -
Height: 2.16m [including her ears]
Race: Viera

Description:
Fran is a member of the Viera race, and is a sky pirate, alongside Balthier. Her primary weapon would have to be the bow and arrow, but is also notably proficient in grapplingand fencing. She has a special connection with the Mist, just like the other Viera members.

Penelo

Age: 16
Height: 1.60 m
Race: Hume

Description:
Penelo is a street dancer in a Rabanastre bazaar, who still carries strong emotions about the death of her parents. She was brought up together with Vaan, whom her parents took him in after Vaan's parents died, therefore sharing a close relationship with him. Her primary weapon would be the dagger.

My vote definitely goes to Ashe, there's no way i could have chosen another.

I chose Fran because Viera's are just too cool.  I agree with whoever said the thing about the furry ears..  Btw, she's dressed for the part.  Penelo looks like she could have been it too if it weren't for the darn cute pose..  I'm not very afraid of a little 16 year old girl sitting on the ground giggling..  Also, Ashe is great except for the clothing.  It's a little bizaare and it seems like she's trying too hard.

In the end I might choose differently after I play the game.  But until then my vote goes to Fran.
