Rinoa's face looks like Squall's

The only thing that's different about their face is their lips and hair, i guess.

Is it a common trait from the char designer for the game or what?

(Because i sorta think Yuffie looks like Tifa in AC, as well. )

ive' heard of the phenomenon where couples grow to look alike (physically) after many years of interaction. Probably where they got the idea of making them look alike from. :P

You don't have to look like a girl to be a girly man, take Al Cid from XII. His gentlemanly attributes make him a little girly, even more than Vaan's physical attributes did.

There is by no doubt, that the FF main male characters are starting to look more feminine as the series progresses. I dont know if square intended that otherwise im sure that the 2 lovers that come face to face do look quite similar. Which I guess is why they were made for each other ;)
