Should we expect remakes of FFs ten years from now? xD

Maybe, we'll be getting a FFX remake on the PlayStation 4... or a FFXII remake on the Xbox 720.

I mean......:|

SE is making more remakes than ever before! In a good way of saying it, it allows the younger generation [i'm not sayin i am old either] to enjoy the previous Final Fantasy titles in a more interactive and enjoyable way, with the enhanced graphics and gameplay and all.

In a bad way of saying it, FF producers are running out of ideas! They're counting on the previous FFs to make up for it.

I think it is good that they are remaking them as it allows younger gamers to experience the past of Final Fantasy. Unfortunately, they only make the remakes on consoles I don't have :(

I think the Blu Ray will have enough size to fit Final Fantasy VII - IX with a bunch of super cool extra features and my dying hard wish for a New Game +

They have only done one remake thus far thatt really is alot more beautiful than the original though

Bah....FF is for the story.....nto the graphics....sure sometimes the graphics help....but in my view, the imagination can do just as well....and sometimes new is better than butchering the old :P

I don't understand why you'd want a remake of a game, unless we're talking way in the future, when you'll see these newer games on hand-held consoles like Final Fantasy 1-6 are getting right now.

Hmm it depends, if the game can still be played on the current gen console then I don't see the point but if the console has finally died then yeah they should make it for a current console for the newer gamers(provided they want to play it) except not kill it by souping up the graphics. I like what Square-Enix did with the SNES FF making them current gen console available.
