Final Fantasy was one of the main reasons why I started playing RPGs more than any other genre and without it. I would be just that casual gamer who just wants to finish any action and platform games with no sense of perfection.

Well since I started playing games in the Racing and Beat 'en up stile, I think I would still be like that.

And well FF7 was my real true first RPG, but the one who put me really in RPGs was FF9 (but even so I don't played that much RPGs, I don't know why I have so much troubles finding RPGs here in Portugal, and since I cant buy on-line...)

But well without RPGs I would be just a racing game Hardcore (but well I'm still a hardcore of GT, maybe I would be even more, but it would be hard).

Since is hard to find good RPGs here, I normally play GT or FF (when I'm tyred of 1 I play the other, unless something odd happens and I find a new RPG).

The sad thing is that I saw DQ8 about 10 times on the stores before it when in Platinum (I was waiting the price to go down) and now I can't find it anywhere :(

I would be dead...life isnt worth living without Final Fantasy LOLZ

I wouldnt really give 2 sh!tz .....I would just play WARCRAFT

and sum FPS games

There are lots of games aside from RPGs just FF happens 2 be one of my favs

Wouldnt be as interested in the ps3 might consider XBOX instead. prob still play WC3 and FPS games. just i would get boring after a while without rpgs to play. i like to play them when i get bored of WC3 or have nothin better to do.

I would probably buy an arcade game that had all the games from my youth long ago. Plus I wouldn't have joined Gamespot. My wife would be happier because she wouldn't be an rpg video game widow!!!

Pretty much the same, but Ii would never experienced the fun of RPG's, because after I played FF9, when I was 10 years old, I got hooked into RPG's

Chances are that WoW would still exist. It draws it's influence from stuff like Ultima Online (the first ever MMORPG). The Ultima series predates Final Fantasy. It also, obviously, draws influence from Warcraft, which is not an RPG, so it would have existed whehter or not FF had existed

WoW is a MMORPG . So WoW will not exist ether. most mmo will not exist if rpg did no exist. and some animes will not excist like hack as they are all based on mmorpgs. i personall hate all .hack series so i dont care about it.

How? Okey it's a great game and all but i have never understood how you can play it for so long...Okey the story is great the multiplayer is great. But after 100 hours with multiplayer it was more then enough for me!

If that was the case, we would have no Shin Megami Tensei, Phantasy Star, KOTOR, Diablo, Golden Sun, Popolocrois, Shadow Hearts, The Elder Scrolls, ect. ect. ect. and that would kinda suck, but I would have played through Metal Gear Solid so many times...oh wait...I have already done that :P

My life would be filled with extremely violent games. :P Such as Metal Gear Solid, and Half-Life 2. Instead, since I have FinalFantasy to keep my attention, I only beat the game once, and not play it again, since my attention will be tide to FF. :P
