All environments, including the sandsea are really enjoyable to explore. It didn't bore me at all. Take the time to do some level ups to your characters, and to spend some license points. You'll need them. Oh, and here's something to get you more interested. I did aproximately a 60 monster chain there. Think you can beat that? :POmnislash_

[QUOTE="DRUNK_CANADIAN"]dont wry, this game is full of large boring environments :Pfs_metalYou're freaking kidding right? Ivalice is hte largest and most beautiful world in the whole of Final Fantasy, with the exclusion of FFXI
its his opinion,he doesnt kidding. Why heck you think you say its the final true uh?
i agree with you,to finish that part i saved the game, quit the ff12 and play driver.Later i go again to play ff12.
i hate that things
I hate flying enemies! :Dliquid_sYeah, need stupid tele or ranged attack..okey we can use magic but i don't use that, i started to use it long after all had tele:P
I hate flying enemies! :Dliquid_sI just fought a flying mark (Wyvern Lord [coincidentally in the Sandsea]) and it just took ages which is annoying. Instead of using my only good characters (Vaan, Basch, Ashe) I had to use the other lot, with their terrible attack power 14 guns and stuff. I still won though :P This was about 30 mins after KC was lecturing me about leveling up all my characters

But I used my normal team, Fran being my only bower, so I made Ashe and Basch learn how to use bows on the LB, so that I could get them to fight. I found it a really simple mark. Or either that, or I sold the bows by mistake and Fran fought it alone while I ran ariund screaming with Basch (he was screaming, you just knew it)
Fran fought it alone while I ran ariund screaming with Basch (he was screaming, you just knew it)liquid_sReplace Fran with Balthier and that was my tactic :P That was after my license spam though of course. I'm actually really bad at getting those chains though hehe.

Or just simple black magic... when you're still early in the game :P And it was no lecture Mr D. it was just advice, i tell everyone about it, because apparently people are prejudiced against Vaan for some reason and leave that poor guy out of the party. And then, they get owned in the game, and they start blaming poor vaan for being in such a low level, when it's them who refuse to use him

Perfect your Quickenings skills? rack up big chains then boost or ethers do some again ( im not as far as you but giving advice anyway :P) then Cast Beserk on your main attacker ( guy to take the damage and deal damage) heal him/her with both other party members if needed... keep haste and protect on everyone and you could cast decoy on the Tank ( guy to take the damage for you)Hey can somebody help me. Of course though, they were not their original "jobs." Vaan had a greatsword, Balthier had a spear, and Fran had a normal sword. Before I entered that area, there was that save point. I did all the status effects I could do to (Protect, Shell, Haste, Bravery, etc.) and then I saved to get my MP back. When I went in there, I used my Quickenings from the start, then I used Elixers to get my MP back. I tried to get the plant thing Oiled and then I used Ardor (I think). I casted Berserk on Vaan and he went crazy on the plant dude. When it was low on health, before it could recover, I used another quickening. Only took me 2 times to beat, one because I didn't know there was a boss, and the second to whoop on his plant butt. :P
