Welcome all members of FFFU to the Final Battle of The Greatest Hero of FFFU!

We have nominated 64 characters, monsters, summons, etc. in total and now there are only 2 remaining after the Semi-Finals, which has just ended.

All that the members of the FFFU have to do is select their pick in the Final Match here, and the Greatest Hero of the FFFU shall be decided.

The Final Battle will be lasting 1 week!

Still trying to process in my mind just exactly how this ended up happening, lol. Two very trivial characters of very little value, but I guess I'll go with Bahamut.magitekk

I was quite surprised as well as I was formulating the results... too bad Auron did not make it... He was close.... Yuna and Cloud and Tifa were close too...

I suppose it has nothing to do with the popularity but just mainly the likability some minor characters have.

On top of video, the PS1 obviously brought a vast improvement to the graphics and animation quality of the characters in the Final Fantasy series. By this time though, the stock characters like "Black Mage" that had previously been series staples, were replaced by more "human" casts. In VI, VII and VIII, characters were defined by their personalities, not their jobs. With Vivi, it was great to see one of those old-school, stock characters get the "modern" treatment in terms of development, animation and personality. Whether you like Vivi or not, there's still more to him than just floating eyes under a pointy hat. He also served as a cornerstone for IX's existential dilemma, the same dilemma Zidane would face upon discovery of the Terran Genomes.

Maybe instead of coming here for the last match you should voted in all of the other matches and the results may have been differfent.

One of the most closest battles ever, its been Vivi and Bahamut leading back to back.

It would have been boring if it was normal.... makes it more fun this way and when the next charcter battle comes we will have no idea who's gonna win. 

I would've expected more prominent protagonists or villains to make it to the finals xD

What happened to Gabranth, Cloud, Kefka, Squall or even Jecht? If only my dear Seymour was there!!

I will partially agree with you on that second part. I honestly did not expect Cloud to loose or Tifa to loose before the semi finals... i also thought that Squall would last longer as well
