The only thing that made AC a FF is because....

Honestly, the story would be worse than "FF: The Spirits Within", standing alone, wouldn't it?

I remember how i felt when i finished watching Advent children. Wow...but...what the hell happened. I  had only played a demo of FF7 and it took my friend a few minutes to explain to me the history of the planet, and jenova etc...

in terms of  narrative, spirits within easily trumps Advent children, in terms of style advent children wins. But even in saying that i have to comment on the fact that the models in spirits within are far more detailed in terms of realism.

It do hope that Squeenix's next film project has tons more substance. Something as grandiose and emotional as FFX.  It would  be awesome for the east to show the west how profound and intelligent fantasy, and or CGI films can be.  

Its a good film but their are holes in the plot, i mean what would sephy of achieved if he killed cloud because meteor was gone and jenova is gone since kadaj used up the last bit of her, really he was just shoved in to keep fans happy by making a sequal, really the whole plot is about bringing sephy back but what would he have done if he had survived ?

He would have killed everyone? :-p but AC was great. i loved it and you shouldnt be totally hard on square because they arent a movie company they make awesome games. but it would be nice if they started making more movies like this.

I think the point about taking sephy out just to please the fans is just too true. A story with great content without sephy would be greater than AC. Just look at DoC, sephy is somewhat linked to the story, but sephy didn't have to appear to make the story good.
