hiya~i wanna ask a question,you all better like Tidus or Cloud?

maybe a half will say Cloud,because he so cool,handsome...

if I,i choose Tidus,i like he because his style just like me....:P

Honestly, i'd rather choose tidus. Tidus is more talkative, although cloud is way more cooler than him physically. Tidus is the active type, and, not as mute as cloud [or squall]

Okey i say it this easy. Tidus! Well it's something about Tidus that i love, not sure what. But there is this thing...
And Cloud, nah. He's the boy that wanted to be a soldier(correct me if i'm wrong) And he become the best and bla bla bla. Not my thing, but anyway. I Choose Tidus!

And yeah, shouldn't we kinda have all the main characters here? Well all from the ps games..:)

Cloud sucks pretty hard, but Tidus is the single worst lead character in RPG history, so I pick the lesser of 2 evils and say I prefer Cloud

I pick Cloud.

Tidus had much better character developement...but I didnt get as into his story. Tidus just wasnt as likable.

Cloud was a worse character over all, but I loved him...just so damn cool.

i think tidus has poor char development in comparison to Cloud :? well... what others can be, since FFVII has the most number of spin offs :?:?:? but in the actual game itself. You can hardly know cloud, he's just.... anti-social, like Squall.... another one. I'm glad SE is turning away from all these guys who are not afraid of ten-foot monsters but are afraid of speaking...

Ill go for Cloud. Mainly for the voice acting. The guy that did Tidus's voice just didnt seem to have the range that was required for the character. Although he does a great Ratchet from Ratchet and Clank.

Cloud.

Most games place emphasis on the grave situation of the story on the main character's shoulders. FFVII and FFX is no exception to this. Although a little more pressure for the protagonist in FFVII.

However, the main difference I see between Cloud and TIdus and the reason I chose Cloud over Tidus was simply because Cloud seemed much more capable and believable to have the weight of the world hang on his shoulder and still save the world mostly due to him alone.

Cloud had the skillz and the power of a 1st-class Soldier(even though he never really was one) and perhaps even more due to his "relationship" with Sephiroth. Tidus, on the other hand was a 1st-class Blitzball player... and then Auron gives him a sword and they expect us to believe he will suddenly kick butt like no tomorrow. I just don't see it.

Let me put it this way. Watching Advent Children and seeing Cloud do all the crazy moves he did there, you weren't really surprised he could do all those and probably expected no less from him. However, let's try to picture Tidus trying to perform anything similar to what Cloud did. Can you do it?

I like Cloud, his warrior type like, but i preffer better Tidus. He is younger and more cooler then Cloud in some ways. But when it comes to weapons, i hale a dilema. :D

come on..... seen AC before? umm....king kong's friend? Look at what Cloud underwent. The loss of his friend. The guilt. The loneliness. The strength he lost. The knowledge of Tifa and his other friends' support. The strength that returns to him. The forgiveness he gave himself in the end.

What does King Kong have to do with this? His developement in the Peter Jackson remake is far superior to both Cloud and Tidus. In FFVII, Cloud had no personality. In AC, he was the poster child for emo kids. Tidus is a whiney **** He whined for hte entire 50 hours that that game lasted. Both characters suck

I liked Tidus better by far. FFX is my favorite Final Fantasy, and I didn't even like FFVII very much. I couldn't understand that game, and I HATE the world map. That is the worst Final Fantasy thing ever, and I want it to die, oh wait, it already has! Yes!

Different characters, different times/consoles, I guess that this is kinda unfair, since the character Tidus had the chance to be developed in a ps2 techonology: more details, expressions, voice and other stuff. Now Cloud, well, i guess he was a lego block, but his attitude said everything. Also, I think that Tidus is okay, but he's way to picky.

Tidus: Blitzball star, but to much ^_^ crybaby.

Cloud: Traumatic hero, a fused memory, COOL, but very -_- silent.

and the winner is: Cloud, with low tech showed much more. But hey! this doesn´t mean I just hate Tidus!
