What got you Hooked on FF?

.....it was teh pretty boxart...I bought FF1....never played the game..but I wanted that box :P .........seriously it was FFIV that got me "hooked" ....however FFVII turned my into a FF fanboy :P

haha people watch me play :P ....I am seriously good at gaming ....teh i pwn teh nubs

......but than again gaming isnt really about winning....more about having fun....and yee FFVII was an amazing game by all standards

My sister always watches me play which is annoying because I have to tell her the whole plot.Darmi

Ugh, tell me about it. For years, my brothers and sisters (...have 6 of em- most still do) just wanted to watch me play FF, sometimes it'd be cool because they'd be like "Whoah!! That's so awesome!!!!!!" and at other times, they'd just be like "Who's that, what's going on, how'd that happen, where'd they go, OMG did he/she JUST DIE!!!" Anyways, so far, I have taught two of them(both brothers) the "ways" to play FF now, but they still have a ways to go.

So, back to topic. FFIV(FFII on the snes in america) got me hooked "way back" in the Super Nintendo era. Then I got to playing FFVII, then I got to play VI, then VIII and so forth. But FF(to me) seems to be going slightly downhill. Ever since Enix took away the Soft, things seem to be different now.

Oh well....At least I'll have the oldies to play when Square finally loses their touch (Which I hope NEVER HAPPENS XD)!

FFVIII was amazing despite many gamers disliking it, I only found a few drawbacks in the story based on the kind of stupidity of certain events in the story....

FF VII got me hook up for the first ever rpg. then later FFVIII and so on untill now FFXII.nickisthemost
