I think i was travelling down Via Infinito, didn't save for about 12 levels of travelling, and i fell for a Elder Tonberry trap.... One-Hit KO for all characters.

What's your worst moment in a FF? :?

Trying to get Omnislash from the Goldsaucer, I never got it because they kept cheating and I had to play a basketball game to get 30 things to play in the battle arena. I hated that.

Probably, i don't remember to well cause it was a few good years ago, i had my best saves wich i liked to play from time to time, FF 7,8,9 and also 250 hours at Front Mission 3 and Vandal Hearts 2 100% and my memory card broke one day. I was in frenzy, but after some time i had those saves back. :D

Mine was my FFVII save getting deleted when I was on the third disk, I was pissed, very pissed. Then when I got over it about a month later I started again, then my memory card erased...again when I got to the second disk. I am now playing through for the third time without actually having completed it. If it deletes again I'm going postal...

Just like Kinetic, Ive had a bad experience in the Via Infento. I was big shot back then, and decided I could take every boss, even level 80's 30 second killer, and didnt save all the way up to level 80. I had catnip equiped , I was on a gunner, and level 99, and knew I couldnt lose. Needless to say...I lost.

I would have to say in FFX was my worst moment. I am usually very good at saving after everything major I did. But this was the one time I did not and regretted it. It was right before I was about to fight sin. I went to get everyone's ultimate weapons, the best armor, everything. Well then I went to collect EVERY beast from every area for the Monster Arena. Let me put it simple, I NEVER saved....then I DIED.

^^Ouch...

My worst experience would have to be in FFX-2, a few weeks ago, when I got all three girls from lvl 70 to 99 in the Final Area, and then an Admantortoise killed me. I forced myself to play the next day because I have NEVER beaten Trema (and I've had the game for 2 years now), and got myself back up to lvl 99, because I ran away from every Admantortoise battle I have come across, and I have ever since.

In FFX, I once gave half of money (around 100,000gil) to Yojimbo and he did...nothing. He got his dog Diagoro to attack. I got so frustrated that I soft resetted, but then I realised that I haven't saved for about an hour...and I just killed Seymour Flux...

Also in FFX...The ultimate form of torture Spiranians share, and like to inflict on me...

BUTTERFLY CATCHING

BUTTERFLY CATCHING

BUTTERFLY CATCHING!!!

I haven't even finished it yet...

That...and Chocobo Racing...why doesn't that stupid, yellow wearing @#% trainer lady just give me the @$*%%$ Sigil already?

In Final Fantasy 8, I was really frustrated with Ultimicia, so I decided to start a new game to clear my head for a while before I went back and trained some more. In fact, I got so into the new game that I didn't even realize it when I saved over my regular file.

I know, careless mistake, I deserved it. I was an RPG n00b.

First time encountering a Malboro in FFVIII. Never felt so powerless...

Probably not the worst moment I had in a FF game in technical terms, but the impact that I got from my first sight of a Malboro and its gruesome Bad Breath special attack, was definitely one of the most impressionable.

Yeah, I think Malboros are a bit too powerful. One attack, and your whole party is not only losing health from poison, but from attacking each other in confusion. Petition to ban Malboros from the Final Fantasy universe.

FF2, no I don't mean 4, the part where you enter into the dreadnought I was underprepared and used to the newer FF games with thier always an exit. FF2 on the GBA lets you save anywhere so I saved after saving hilda...big mistake since as I continue I realise this place is big...and im underleveled...and I just used my last potion, pheonix down and well everything of that sort...long story short I restarted... FFXI has my true worst moment in almost anything...and anyone who ever played it knows what I mean, people pulling mobs to zone exits... one time in the jungle near Khazam (SP?) there are tornberrys deeper in and lots of people train in the nearest place to the zone exit...sadly someone decided to zone through this exit, even though there were other closer ones. simply put massive devastation as lvl 45-50 tornberrys rush in and eat about 30 lvl 26-30's apart...well the WHM had fun reviving people...

hehehe, I also threw a tantrun for Tidus' sigil, I spent more time getting that than waiting for one of the ronsos on a blitz team to become a free agent
