In FFVII, they were known as Limit Breaks, and Overdrives in FFX.

In all the FF games, there are various limits for various characters, each having some unique animation to their own.

Which one, in your opinion, looked the coolest?

Clouds Omnislash was not only great looking it was extremely powerful. Also Cids Highwind and Dynamite limits were very cool to watch.

For some random reason I think Auron's Shooting Star. Looks really powerful even if it isn't a long omnislash or anything.

Ok, i do not remember the name, but that last for Tidus was pretty cool in my eyes, okey maybe because i love Tidus and Blitzball. But love it love it i can't say it enough, i love it!

Lionheart, Squalls limit break is my alltime favorite. It is just perfection and plus its just a little cooler than omnislash, why you ask?? Because its done with a GUN BLADE lol. :D
