Lots of shooters, lots of sequels to shooters. I couldn't force myself to care about the X1 or its dull line up.
New Insomniac game could be cool, new Mirror's Edge could be cool, if they would have shown some gameplay. The Division looks interesting, Titanfall might be interesting, if they weren't so samey.Â

All the games just look like current gen stuff. Not by looks, but by ideas and that really disappoints me.Â
Sony won E3. No contest.n33d2skate
Yeah, looking over some stuff, it definitely seems like they did the best. None of the Xbone's bullshit draconian policies and some pretty good game announcements.
Microsoft Conference: I only caught like the last forty minutes, but I didn't hate what I saw.
Dead Rising 3 looks really cool, I was a big fan of the first one and I enjoyed the second but felt the franchise needed more changes, but the "call in an airstrike with smartglass on your phone/tablet" was pretty stupid.
The Witcher 3 looks good, but lolatplayingthatonconsoles.
Cannot imagine being more bored than I was with the Battlefield 4 Day One Map Pack gameplay.
Titanfall looks really good, I like the focus on the vertical movement mechanics, and the tele-kinetic bullet reversal mech powahs.
All in all I felt like maybe I might be interested in buying this console after all, and then. . .
499 US DOLLARS!! Lolno Microsoft, thanks for dissuading me, I was almost afraid I'd have to have three consoles again, but nope, just one or two this time around.
EA Conference: Only read a liveblog after the fact and watched the "trailers" of things I found interesting. Jesus Christ, "teaser trailers" need to die. Just show me a game so I can know what to think of it. I have no idea if Star Wars: Battlefront is going to be an actual Battlefront game or just Star Wars: Battlefield (with day one map pack DLC!), and I have no idea of Dragon Age Inquisition is going to be at least enjoyable if unremarkable like the first one or just complete shit like the second one, so I'm forced to assume the latter in either case.
Mirror's Edge 2 could be good, but once again, teaser, although at least this one showed off the fact that there is in fact a game involved.
Runaway hit for me was, incredibly surprisingly, the Plants VS Zombies sequel. That looked ace!!Â
Sony Conference: Got off to a bit of a slow start with "hey guys, remember the VITA is a product that exists?", but otherwise this was a hit. The Order 1886 and Destiny have interesting premises as far as shooters go (although it's tough to get excited about those these days), some nice multiplat reveals, indie stuff looked promising, no used games and 399 US DOLLARS were major hits for me
Very pleased with the PS4, may get it after only one price drop.
Still waiting on Nintendo's next Direct to see if that has enough compelling software to warrant a purchase. Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101 look fantastic, but I need news on other franchises.Â
Not much impressio though, aside from I CAN"T WATCH IT! my internet is sloppy, Kingdom Hearts III is new, been with Kingdom Hearts II but never played the Original Kingdom Hearts, if they release an English HD collection might try it though. then PS4 and Xbox one thing isn't really getting at me, even making me more sad, Halo 5 & 6 will not be in Xbox360 :(
besides, it'll be a lot of Chance that those two companies make Slim versions, or Halo themed.Â
Has anyone noticed that these next gen games don't feel next gen? To me, they're like curent gen games, but the graphics are just a bit better.n33d2skate
Pretty much. It all looks like same stuff I've been playing for the last few years.
I won't be buying a new console anytime soon, or building a real PC. Watch Dogs looks awesome, but I can play it on current gen. New 3DS Zelda will probably be good, if Nintendo would show something more of it than a single trailer. Transistor will be incredible, but the developers are idiots and aren't releasing it for PC, so I guess I'll have to wait a year for a port.Â
I'm just so uninterested in this new generation. Nothing worth blowing a few hundred dollars on.Â

I can stress how much I love the concept of Watch Dogs. It's definitely one of my favorite ideas I've seen in a long time.
I probably won't get a PS4 until, maybe 2016 or so. I do think we'll see some groundbreaking games in years to come, just not now.Â
Well here are some the games that I am interested in that I could think of right off hand
Xbox one- Dead Rising 3, Crimson Dragon, Halo(Still likely to boycott the system though) and Ryse didn't look too bad either
PS4-Kingdom Hearts III, Final Fantasy XV, The Order 1886
EA- Star Wars Battlefront, Battlefield 4
Ubisoft-The Division, Watch Dogs, ACIV, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Rayman Legends
Nintendo-Super Smash Bros, Pokémon X/Y, Yoshi's Island
Also Tales of Xillia.
As for the conferences themselves, Microsoft did do better then the Xbox One reveal at least, kind of found EA and Ubisoft's a little boring, and didn't watch the Nintendo thought Sony's was the best out of them.
Think I maybe just sticking with PS4/Wii U this next gen, not getting a PS4 at launch though since early systems tend to have bugs and issues with them.
I guess Sony won, though I don't have any plans to buy a PS4. Nintendo totally underdelivered, more Mario, more Mario Kart, more Smash Bros. yeah yeah yeah. I'm still confused about how extensive the X1's DRM is.
Transistor looks amazing, and it's coming to PC. I'm really excited. Not excited about much of anything else. Watch Dogs should be really cool, but that E3 demo was a bit meh. Mag Runner looks really fun, for an indie puzzle game. Total War Rome 2 looks really great, but there's no way my laptop's going to run it. Nintendo's stuff all looked good, but not good enough to get me to want a WiiU. I really wanted to see more of that new Zelda 3DS game, but they didn't show anything of it at all. Â Thief looks totally meh, disappointing. Nothing else really stood out.Â
Okay E3, I'm losing a lot of interest in video games. So little that I care about. Â
