Episode 15 - "The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000" Discussion

I liked it. Not one of the best this season, but still pretty good. I was hoping that someone would dropkick the Flim Flam brothers, but they got what was coming to them. And I thought Applejack's letter to Princess Celestia was awesome.

Man, this show really seems to know how to get me feeling empathetic for the characters. I felt just as frustrated and sorry for Rainbow Dash as I did for Twilight back in "The Ticket Master", and she's not even one of my favorite characters. Would've been nice to have seen her knock back a mug of cider in one shot, but at least she got some in the end.

Also, Applejack's letter is lol-worthy, and it's nice to see that Derpy's still hanging around. I was worried that we would have seen the end of her after the trouble the writers got into over her infamous debut.

Loved it, a very unique and unexpected song. It is very nice to see every pony getting along and working together for a change.

I really can't say the episode hit the right spots for me. However, I LOVED AJ's letter to the princess at the end. Other than that, nothing much else I really like about it. The episode didn't seem much like an Applejack episode as an Apple FAMILY episode.  I was hoping the flimflam brothers would have been better antagonists, but they just cut their losses and moved on. And it doesn't look like they're gonna be back. Their song was also rather dreary too, and hearing all the ponies in ponyville chanting for cider just... well a little something in me died. I most probably wont be watching this one again.

I enjoyed that, among the best of this Season. And AJ's letter was awesome, glad they have learnt finally.
One thing I wanna know is when Pinkie gets an industrious amount, why is she not hospitalised ? Guess its different definitions of Cider hehe.

Yeah, I didn't like the song much either. 

Well at what point did they put alcohol in the cider? For all we know, it's just apple juice labelled as cider. It's like them removing all the caffeine that was pumped in to the blue smarties and bringing them back without the caffeine :PGenesis_123

In Japan I think Cider = Apple Juice so someone we know does company stuff over there and one of the Japanese people he works with came over here and got drunk on Cider (as the UK knows it) :P

good but not as great as the Last Roundup and Hearths's Warming Eve.

Still good episode Sweet apple acre's aim for the quality not the quantity I'd go their side.

it's a waste having many worthless things in your place especially if it's consumables like those.

I also thought that modern technology can be beaten by simple people/ponies.

That was my thought, I drink apple cider all the time. It's not always alcoholic.
