i don't know, people were actually looking forward to the game, but they just let it lay there for 10 years convert it to run on xbox and ps3 and sell it...
I don't like games with giant maps. GTA IV's map was too big for me :P
I actually felt that one of the downsides in AC Brotherhood and III was the size of the map. Travelling across all of Rome/ the frontier(before fast travel is unlocked) got so annoying.
