Uh... It seem like you didn't read the rules of role and ranks.

You pick a character at first, next you will take the test, and last you get pick by a captain.

Meaning.

You suppose to pick a character before anything unless you don't want a character and just be yourself.

So if you didn't pick a character from Bleach, do so now.

Look. You can have any character in a different squad. For example, Nemu in the 8th Squad. We don't know who the 6th seat is. What matters is finding a character you like and being that character.

About the squads. Not my problem. Unohana wanted you. End of the story. Once we get 5-10 seats fill for each squad. We can do what I call A Squad Trade. So sit tight.

Depending on the speed of things that could take some time.

If I remember right Ebbon you mentioned that you wanted one of your characters to be on Squad 4, one on the Special Forces ( Mikazuki ) ...

Here's what happened to me when I first joined Gotei 13:

I had my own original character ( Bella ) then Kisuke recruited me to be 3rd Lt. Vizard Mashiro Kuna.  Then in the 6th Arc Cpt. Gin asked Bella to be in the Shadow Squad which I accepted. 

So you see if you have your own original characters, like Mikazuki, he could possibly still be in the Special Forces Squad although not officially listed.  Does this make sense to you?  I hope so.
