The only thing i was dissappointed about was the spin attack. you have to wait a long time before you get it and it's not realy that good.

A lot of people are indeed disappointed. Although some of the complaints are iffy, Twilight Princess has its faults. Considering Loz, Alttp, and Oot were considered flawless for their time, the title of best Zelda game would most likely go to one of those titles. One could say the vast amount of hype was a cause for the large amount of disappointment and although it did definitely contribute, Nintendo brought it upon themselves. Oot was also preceded by a large amount of hype and we all know how that game turned out. Twilight Princess is simply not the new definite Zelda title, its missing components that the other Zelda games I mentioned contain. Ever since Oot, Nintendo has been unwilling to make another definite Zelda, a game that is able to define the entire series as a whole, as well as evolve it.

To me the game was AMAZING, the only game I would say that's better than that one that I've played would have to be Resident Evil 4, I am Still Playing TP since it's so much fun, I'm not disapointted at all.

Every game could be better.

So far I'm not disappointed. It's a helluva lot better than WW. Nostalgia may play a factor in what you end up thinking of the game.

So what was your total game time? See you tell us you beat it within a week, but that really means nothing. Seems like you played it constantly till you beat it. I could say I beat one of the longer RPGS in a week and say I was disappointed and thought it would be longer, but that's just stupid because the only reason would be I played it 10 or more hours a day. A little extreme but you get the point I hope.

there were only a few things I was disappointed about in this game like the spin attack which I mentioned earlier. These are only minor things. overall It's a superb game. one of the coolest games in my collection. but not the best Zelda game in my opinion. ocarina of time is still my number1. It has the better storyline. but everyone has his own personal opinion and when you say Twillight Princess is better than the rest I can't blame you for thinking that.

every Zelda title has it's flaws. but overall every zelda game is a great game.

to me TP is one of the best games ever creaeted and TO ME it's my favorite game ever, why? simple really, because it has everything, adventure, action, thrill, storyline, music, atmosphere, everything in the game screams quality, i do believe why people are disappointed is because the title is evolutionary and not revolutionary, but what can i say it's their opinion not mine.

i beat the game in 64 hours. i just thought it would be a bit harder. i only got stuck once, that was the only time i asked for help. i wasted 3-4 hours trying to figure it out but all i did was run around the dongeun a few dozen times. but ever since i beat iv been sad and deppresed. i ket on hopeing for more. the story line was very good. the never ending dungoun were anoying. it was dongeun after dongeun, ahh... :?

To me TP fell short challengewise. You don't reall have to do too much thinking to make it though. But then again I just played right through without thinking about whether it was hard or easy. I just beat Zant who was just plain silly, I mean really did you see the way he was acting and jumping around when reached the throne room.

It was disgustingly easy
The world was too big, with not enough stuff to do after the story's done
It felt like just dungeon after dungeon after dungeon... something which WW somehow avoided.
There were very few developed characters outside of the storyline

These are the parts that disappointed me.

Yes, the game had its share of problems. I agree with what most of you have complained about. But, I have to say that the game did change it by creating a much more mature feel in style with more action and enemy sequences. It brought the game a little more action to help bring new players into the series. However, for us true Zelda fans, it did fall short in several areas. I'm too lazy to list them, even though there's maybe somewhere between 5 and 10, but I have to say that the game was an overrall really fun experience. One I'm sure not to forget...

I kinda dissapointed about the ending I thought it would be longer. It also doesn't show what really happens to Ganondorf and the Master Sword.

The people that beat TP in about a week just rushed through the whole game. If you play through the side quest, and adventure the land, you'll realize that this is not only the best Zelda game to come out yet, but one of the best games ever made. period.

I think all of the people who felt a little cheated (like me) still have unfulfilled promises straight from the mouths of the developers fresh in their minds. Didn't they mention something about doing more with Ganondorf than we could possibly imagine? 70 hour minimum game time? More dungeons than Oot (it had the same or less, depending on how you look at it)? THE best Zelda?

These expectations built up in my mind, and when some of them simply weren't delivered by the game, it clouded my judgement. I couldn't see the game for what it was, I was judging it against what my mind said it should have been.

I'd say that it was easily the best Zelda. But it didn't FEEL like the best, at least to me.

thats true.. nintendo said allot of stuff about the game, the dungeons, the story, the ganon. this game is really good but its still missing something else including the dungeons, story, and but ugly pig. the enemy could of been a little tougher. instead we get weaklings in great numbers.... there also should of been some more side quest some more event . less of the post man. in the other hand the bosses were good. and the dngeons were challenging at times. and there are a few side quest its better than none.

To me it seems like a lot of people beat the game so fast and didnt take the time to enjoy and thats why i think they didnt enjoy the game. For me this game lasted about a month and a half. It didnt take me that many hours i just took my time with it. beat a temple then explored for a little bit and waited a while then continued the game in a couple of days. I enjoyed everything about it, but there is some things i would change. for 1 i miss the element arrows. Those were my favorite weapons in the games. I also think Zant could have been a little more threatening. As for the best zelda i think Ocarina of Time still beats it. TP was still a great game and take your time with it and try not to rush through it like a lot of people did. Those are the people who didnt seem to like the game very much.
