Favorite enemy of Link?

Here you can name your favorite enemy of Link from any Zelda.

My favorite enemy was Kirby. I know what you're all going to say, no SSB involved, but I can assure you, Kirby makes a guest appearance in Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX on the Gameboy Color, don't know on the original Link's awakening. But still, rest assured Kirby makes an appearance as his cute puffball self while being evil towards Link in Link's Awakening DX. (If he's in original Link's Awakening, let me know here on this thread)

I'm going with Volvagia. I have three reasons.

1. When you've played Zelda for as long as I have and you play Ocarina of Time for the first time and start connecting some of the enemies, sages and such with The Adventures of Link (Zelda 2) you get a nostalgic feeling. Gamers love that.

2. He's a fricken dragon. Stereotypes say that knights slay dragons and when you first see him burst out of the lava pits in the Fire Temple you know you're about to get into some serious knighting.

3. Has anyone read any of the Manga series out right now. I like the story they added about Volvagia and Link.

Link buys him as a baby dragon when he was young to set the dragon free. In turn they become best friends. When Link awakens as the Hero of Time he eventually ventures to Death Mountain and comes face to face with his old friend. He gets his butt kicked a few times then realizes that his friend has been taken over by Ganon and he is forced to kill him. Under blood, sweat and tears Link vows to avenge him. Thats harsh when your friend becomes your enemy like that.

I loved Moldorm. The Giant Wurm from the third dungeon in A Link to the Past.

Because of how he bounced you around and sometimes off the edge, this battle could go on for quite awhile.

Twinrova (+Kotake and Koume) was also a very epic boss battle. Not too challenging unfortunately.

I don't know about that...

Thunderbird from Zelda II was pretty hard. I beat him twice in my entire life, and it was dumb luck in both cases.

id like to say Ganon WW it was the very first zedla game (maybe even the first game ever) i had beaten or got to the final boss :P lol or maybe that unicorn for Oracle of Season he was the first boss i beat on that game or any other zedla (or anyother) game lol

My first boss would have been the Armos Knights. Or Maybe you could consider that Ball n' Chain Trooper a boss, I'm not so sure about him.

Either way, both were rather un-epic. :/

Agree with you on that one it took me a while to beat him at the Water Temple.

The most badass of Zelda bosses is Ganondorf's final form in OOT, but the most satisfying victory is in defeating Ganon on Death Mountain in the original 8-bit game. Dodongo was always fun, too.

Of course, if any enemy is allowed, not just bosses, I'm gonna have to go with Like-like.

Stalfos are still some of the best enemies to fight. Anything that can deflect your shots and makes you dual them properlly are always fun.

The first time I fought him I swear the game glitched, because I literally could not hit him with the hammer no matter what I tried, and I used my full magic meter on Dins Fire. 3 faeries later and about 15 minutes and I was dead. When I reloaded my game and fought him it took me all of 2 minutes to obliterate him.

same thing happened to me too but really my power just went off i didnt die lol

that duel with ganondorf at the end of TP. it had all led up to that moment with the lightning and then when we locked swords and he fell to the ground i was like...

Although quite epic, that battle could have been much better if it was a little harder. Ganon needed to do a lot more damage.
