Glad to see happy faces

I joined gamespot last week. Tonight I joined The Legend Of Zelda union.

I joined for three simple reasons.

Link is one of the strongest character in video game history. From the first of the series to Twillite Princess, he is almost a fable I will speak to my children about. I hope with this guild, we can work together to help face the changes of Link's future.

Second, anyone I can rant on for hours over Zelda is a friend under my roof. Simply put.

Last, I don't enjoy not having access to things. I like how gamespot makes you levelup, but at the sametime, it hinders me.

Now, if you don't mind, I would like to say a few things that I hope will inspire a few of you. Link represents everything that is good. He works hard, helps others, and sacrifices everything for the greater good. He represents everything we could be. And he whips the pants off of Mario, any day of the week.

Samus and Link are the same genetic makeup, just one has boobs and a rocket while the other swings a sword and carries everything in his hat.

Nah, Link vs Samus is like flipping a coin, one is heads the other tails. No matter how you cut it, it's gonna be 50/50.

Are we talking Smash Bros? Coolness? Real-life fight?

Because I could kick any Link players butt with Samus in original or Melee (maybe not Brawl), and it would be a tough fight in real life. It would really depend on how many upgrades \ energy tanks Samus has and how many hearts \ faeries Link had.

As for cool factor I'm not too sure, they are both freakin' sweet.

And Link whoops Samus any day in the original Smash Bros. as long as I control him ARIEL ASSAULT!

In brawl, as long as i control him, link would never be defeated by samus. But ya, depends on energytanks/fairies, upgrades/weaponsgoron14

That's only because samus was nerfed hardcore in brawl. I'll take you any day in melee or original =P

Samus and Link are my top two favorite characters, in terms of Ninty anyways. XD

But even if they were compared to other characters they'd still be at the top.

si, in Brawl Link owns Samus.

In Melee it depends on who controls.

I terms of coolness I seriously can't decide, at all.

If I feel science fiction-y and shooter-y, i'll go with Samus. If I feel anything else, it's Link.

I am wondering the same thing, but I am getting (off-topic, sorry) Metroid Prime Trilogy later this year. I hadn't played any of them. I am looking forward to it.

I know I'm definately voting for Link :D

In regards to Link vs Samus, I'd have to say 50 - 50. They both have a wide selection of weapons. It'd all depend on who can find that glowing weak spot first :D
