I was just wondering about some of the islands in Wind Waker and what they were in Hyrule. Here are my questions:

Is Dragon Roost Island supposed to be Death Mountain? When I look at it, I see that dip in it that Death Mountain in Ocarina of Time had.

Are the Forest Haven and the Forbidden Woods a couple of dead Deku Trees? I was thinking that the Forbidden Woods is the Deku Tree that dies at the beginning of OOT and that the Forest Haven was the second Deku Tree that sprouts up after you beat the Forest Temple.

Is Windfall Island supposed to have been around Kakariko Village? I always had the idea in my head that Windfall Island was built by the descendants of Kakariko Village on a mountain somewhere near Kakariko Village.

Is the Tower of the Gods supposed to represent Hyrule Castle in a way (I don't mean that it is Hyrule Castle, but just think about it)? Tower of the Gods is right above Hyrule Castle and you may note that the gate thing around it is kind of in the shape of the pond where you descend in front of Hyrule Castle.

Thank you!

Death Mountain = Dragon Roost Island

Valoo = Volvagia's good twin brother?

The Ritos, in my opinion, are the Zoras, evolved. The Koroks are of course, the Kokiri.

The ancestor of Medli (a Rito) is a Sage in the Earth Temple. If I remember correct, that Sage is a Zora.
The ancestor of Makar (a Korok) is a Sage in the Wind Temple. If remember correct, that Sage is a Kokiri.

Interesting theories Metalsamurai, however it was never confirmed that any of the Islands featured in WW are/were actually Islands in Hyrule although many do bear a striking resemblance to them.

Well, I was wondering about some of that stuff, too! I wondered if Valoo was related to Volvagia. I had guessed that Jabun was related to Jabu Jabu (you hear the Jabu Jabu's Belly music when you meet Jabun, it's just a little different)! I still can't think of reason why there aren't any Gorons (except for the three merch-aaahhh, nevermind, I almost gave something away!:D) since the Gorons were mountain-dwellers!

Windfall Island is also the Kakariko Village theme, remixed.

You think the three orbs are related in any way to the spiritual stones? In OoT, the Deku Tree has the Kokiri Emerald, the Zoras have the Zora Sapphire, and the Gorons have the Goron Ruby.

In the Wind Waker, the Deku Tree gives you Farore's Orb. The Gorons (who gave you the Goron Ruby) lived on Death Mountain. If Dragon Roost is connected to Death Mountain, then there is possibly some connection between the Goron Ruby and Din's Orb, since the Ritos, living on Dragon Roost, give you Din's Orb.
Jabu Jabu is connected to the Zoras, who give you the Zora Sapphire. If Jabun (who gives you Nayru's Orb) is connected with Jabu Jabu, then there could be a connection between the Zora Sapphire and Nayru's Orb.

Also, the 'deities' all seem to have them.

In Ocarina of Time, the Deku Tree (deity of earth) gives you the Spiritual Stone. In WW, his descendant gives you the Orb.
In Ocarina of Time, Darunia gives you the Spiritual Stone (But where did he get it from?), and in WW, Baloo, the deity of wind gives you the Orb.
In OoT, Jabu Jabu (deity of water) gives you the stone, in WW, Jabun (deity of sea) gives you the Orb.

If I say anything else, a timeline theory is going to break out.

Yeah, they are probably related! I had always wondered whether the pendants in A Link to the Past were related to the Spiritual Stones.

That makes sense. I was kinda disappointed when I went to the Forest Haven. I was hoping they would've kept their human forms, so I might've recognized them from OoT. :(

Yes, but I'm trying to make sense with my theories; I have thought a lot about this, and I want it to make sense.

Well actually, it says in the game that the islands are the highest parts of Hyrule, and those are the only parts of it that weren't submerged by the great flood.

Yes, the King of Hyrule explains it to you when you meet him in Hyrule Castle.

That is a very good timeline. I trust it although i have my questions. And besides every game is related to at least one other game if not 2,3,4, or them all. (or is there a game that is related to them all)

The Koroks are the Kokiri that changed when they started living in the ocean.

1) Yes we can suppose that dragon Roost is Death Mountain!! It has already had a dragon years ago!! Remember Volvagia!!?

2) Forest Haven could be the lost woods but it could just be another place that was inhabited after by the kokiris!! Its not neseseraly at the same place where Lost Woods were!!

3) No i dont think so cause Kakariko was just below Death Mountain and just a bridge away from Hyrule Castle!! But Windfall is too far away from the Tower Of Gods and Dragons Roost!! But it is possible that Kakarikos people built it!!

4) I dont know but it think it was built so that the chosen one could be idntified by the Gods and then grand gim their powers and also show him the way to Master Sword!!

Thanks for the answers! I don't agree with everything you said, but I wanted to see some thoughtful answers on this subject!

One thing I recently thought about Dragon Roost Island is that it is probably Death Mountain because they both have Bomb Flowers; Death Mountain is supposed to be the only place in Hyrule where Bomb Flowers can be found!

I didn't say that I thought the Forest Haven was the Lost Woods, I thought that it and the Forbidden Woods were the two Deku Trees from Ocarina of Time, submerged in the water.

I thought Windfall Island was built by Kakariko Village's people because they both have windmills and the windmill in Kakariko was the most famous feature of the village, so they would want to rebuild a new windmill because of their attachment to it.

I thought it was odd how Tower of the Gods was right above Hyrule Castle, yet had no visible base in Hyrule! I think it was supposed to be symbolic in the way it appears above where Hyrule Castle is!

slightly askew from the topic: I was really hoping to hear the song of storms (or some remix of it) when you turn on the windmill at windfall island. That would've convinced me for sure that it was the people from kakariko village that moved to windfall.

ya that would have been pretty cool if they would have done that.
