i would have to disagree with the article, while it's true that zelda TP would make a PERFECT selling point for the Wii console, it would also be superior to the GC version, and yes while you can indeed do everything on the Wii version with just buttons, it won't be AS fun though, check IGN's preview, all they do is praise this game with the controller, they said that everything felt FRESH in this version. and i believe the GC version won't be as "fresh". one thing that really cought my attention in this article is the fishing part, when you fish with the GC controller you will have fun no doubt, but when you have the Wii controller, you will have a blast, but don't take my word for it , check IGN's fishing video's by yourself, it will blow your mind. also , the fact that this article says 16:9 isn't that important, i would have to say, that statement is completely wrong, widescreen is a very important aspect for the people who do have widescreen TV's , they will enjoy the Wii version more than the GC version. i know i haven't played the game, but from what i saw it's getting along quite good, also this game isn't finished yet, so the controls might change for the better. don't get me wrong, i want this game to stay GC exclusive, BUT if it's going to the Wii, i might aswell get excited for this game on both consoles, no need to diss one and hate another.

Congradulations at being too lazy to read a great article. you might as well not have posted.

Anyways, I agree with some of the things he is saying, I disagree with others. I believe that fishing will be fantastic in the Wii version, no matter what he says, the actions of imitating that do look fun to do and I don't particularily care how the console reads my actions.

Second, Widescreen is a good adition to it as well.

I agree about the spin attack, it seems like it might be too easy to pull off, and to balance this, they might even cuty it's power down. I prefer a hard to pull off, but strong attack in my spins. Holding down the A button is also a good way to do it sometimes.

I am afraid about mapping items as he said, I don't see any way to map them and it still feel natural and easily accessable, but I may be mistaken. That's something which must be done right or the game could suffer.

I'll probally still get the Wii version, but I do have more respect for the GC version now.

hey, let's face it...many people were intimidated when shoulder buttons and the 'x' and 'y' buttons were part of the SNES, but now that's like child's play.  Did anyone immediately take to the N64 controller?  Did you still play smash brothers w/o trouble in the end?  How about OOT?  Unless we continue to use a controller setup which is a modified NES motif, we have to adapt and go on here!  I'm sure it will be odd at first but I'm sure it will be quite manageable in the end.  The idea of trying it 'both ways' sounds like a good idea, although if you go the gamecube way first you may be 'set in your ways'...like people trying to use a steering wheel when they are already a controller master on Gran Turismo...but perhaps not, perhaps that -re-learning-will be fun, but either way w/o change nothing advances.

Nuck why cant you post it on the front page? You are the leader, are you not? Also I plan on getting the GC version first as it will be a superior version. I will eventually get the Wi version though.

He does not have long access to an internet connection right now. Thus, he only had time to quickly find and post the news on the forum, as posting on the front page can often be problematic especially when on a limited time frame.

Twilight Princess is Nintendo's last big seller for the Gamecube before they retire the system.  I feel that while using the controller with the revamped version of LOZ may be an awesome experience, the fact that the Wii is motion play makes me more interested in the Wii version.

I agree that it looks hard to select items with the D-pad but what I agree most with is that the Wii version should allow you to plug in the gamecube controller and use that instead of the Wii controller if one so chooses, but i doubt that will happen.
