Maybe they enjoyed Oracle of Ages more then Seasons or they might of meant both but just forgot to write it down.
I personally have not played them. Were the games really good?nuck44
Yup :). If you played both you have the ability via pascode to link the two games and play the games final level and beat the REAL villian behind everything. I wonder who that villian is....:P
Anyway you should pick up the games nuck, they are very good for the GBC age.
I posted Oracle Of Ages by chance. So it doesnt really matter becuase both of them are really almost the same thing (not quite but you get my point) and we need both to experience the full story.
Also another reason i only posted one of the Oracles is because i didnt want to exclude other game of the series. If you notice each game made a little contribution to the Zelda we know now. And of course we had to post the recent Zelda games.
That is true but, if I was to pick one over the other I would have to say OoA. It was a bit more challenging and I liked the dungeons better.natiko
Why dont you go ahead and post it in the thread.
I only thought of them as good because they were made for a portable system. It was mainly just a novelty of playing Zelda in the car.AJ_THE_GREAT
they weren't the first portable zelda, I thought that they were genuinely good, they didn't live up to the other zelda games, but they weren't bad.

LA was the first handheld Zelda game, and it wasnt so bad but it was more like a riddle game. In those times i didnt know much english so i had to have a dictionary at my side.

I liked them quite a bit.I thought they were basically even, but if you like puzzle elements more than fighting elements, I can see why somebody would like Ages more. Personally, those two games were probably my least favorite of the 10 mainstream games anyway.DukeStinks
I liked them a lot more than zelda 2, maybe that's because I only played it for about 20 minutes, but I hated it. Maybe it would have been easier to get into, if the first time I played it wasn't less than a year ago. The original even when playing it for the first time now it has the gameplay to compensate for the crappy graphics.

Zelda 2 is the one Zelda game I can honostly say I hate.Well I haven't played either of the first two, but it sounds like that wouldn't be such a good idea anyway.recipient_unown
no the original is good, nice and hard (you don't have anyone giving you directions at all). I haven't finished it yet, but it's worth playing, even though it may burn your eyes a little bit.

The original Zeldas graphics are bad but, it's still a good game but, the horror of Zelda 2 is UNSPEAKABLE!!![QUOTE="talon4001"][QUOTE="recipient_unown"]Well I haven't played either of the first two, but it sounds like that wouldn't be such a good idea anyway.natiko

Yes both games still hold up well today. I personally enjoyed OoA better because it was a little more difficult. Starting a game in OoS and continuing your quest in OoA is the way to go. I beat both games with the link feature and got the "real" ending.
[QUOTE="recipient_unown"]OK then, don't play AoL, got it.natikogood:D
HEY, you should let him experience the game by himself. (good april fools joke).
But anyway if you want to play it go ahead, just dont buy it, rent it or something. Or if you want to fill up your Zelda collection, buy it. Its up to you.
What i know is that i am going to buy the remake for GBA, just to fill my collection and actually try it.

I will probably do that aswell, when I get some money anyway. I've just spent it all buying OoA, ALttP, MC, and a gamecube so I can get WW and Zelda '05.
