I hope you don't mind if I added a poll to thread. Makes more sense with the mention of voting in the title.
At any rate, I enjoyed Twilight Princess more. The sailing in Wind Waker was tedious at times, especially during the infamous Triforce Hunt. Twilight Princess also featured the first true Hyrule in 3D since Ocarina of Time, although the characters themselves were a bit hollow... The idea of adventure greatly outweighed that factor though, nothing like riding across the open field and suddenly attacked by enemies on boar back.
Last option seems kinda silly for a Zelda union :P
Anyways, Wind Waker ftw. Twilight Princess was a great game but the Wii controls were a little tacked on and the characters wern't as likeable.
I'm going to have tovote "I hate Zelda", it's probably the worst series ever to be spawned and the worst to be inserted into my Nintendo systems! (j/k, obviously :P)
it's too close for me to pick which one I like more, the dungeons were a bit more fun to go through in WW, but the bosses felt much bigger and immense and a bit more memorable in TP. I actually really enjoyed the sailing inWW, but sometimes it did get a little tedious, while TP traveling wasn't as fun WW's sailing, it also never got tedious in TP. Both had epic stories, TP had a better one, though. TP looked prettier, but there's something about WW's I like a little more. I guess it's the cel-shading and that it looks more colorful in WW to me. But whatever, that's whatI think.
Say whatever you like but I'm going with Wind Waker. It was pretty different and enjoyable in a fun sort of way :D
Twilight Princess was an epic adventure, very serious and and all :|
Oh my Wind Waker is getting destroyed. I don't understand what you people have to complain about. Sailing is fine because there's these platforms along the way you can climb up on and kill monsters and get treasure. There's also monsters that pop up as well and there's these weird barrels that pop up with rupees on them and if you get them all then you get a nice blue rupee (5 entire rupees :O). Yup.
Twilight Princess lacks any fun sidequests. Collecting Hearts is in any game and collecting bugs and poes is redundant. The entire main story quest has you collecting things.

The sailing in WW can be fun and quite relaxing, its just that there was a great deal more that could have been done. Each landmass is limited in size to a single square while the ocean feels empty for the most part. Tp's overworld may not have had as much content as the Great Sea, but it didn't feel as such. It may also have to do with combat preferences, as most individuals will find battling on land more engaging and enjoyable then battling on open water, at least the way each is portrayed in their respective games.
Ether way, both games start out great, but begin to display faults after Link acquires the Master Sword.

I suppose. More walking and fighting would have been nicer.
But I still liked sailing alot :P.
i loved both. but in my opinion TP was trying to be OoT a little too much
but then, WW is easier than TP and the sailing can get a little annoying after a few hours but i think their equal...i'd vote that but it won't let me for no good reason
Still, how can one find Twilight Princess easier than Wind Waker?:P
At the very least everything seemed to do more damage in Twilight Princess, lava even took away two whole hearts. (Which could be quite dangerous early on in the game)

yeah, I only had 4 hearts by the time I was at Goron mines in TP, fall twice and goodbye Link!
I've never played WW.
Don't kill me, it's just that I got into the Zelda games with TP. Then I downloaded OOT on my Wii and I'm playing through that now. Also got PH on the way. Gotta get through them, then I'll play WW. The cel shading is so cute :p
So yeah, TP for me.
TP was better in my opinion. I loved Wind Waker too, the artistic style was superb and really suited a younger link but I still prefer the more adult like version and lets face it, hunting for triforce shards was not a highlight of the game. Alexis_Fire
Nor was searching for those stupid bug things early in TP :x(it wasn't for me, atleast)

That sidequest didn't seem overly bothersome, although that may be due to the optionality of the task and the lack of paying a 35 year old man in green tights to actually collect them.:P

Well it was for me, or the last one I had to do was, the other ones weren't as bad, now that I think about it.

Coincidentally, that was the only thing in the game to actually kill me.
Both of them were too easy, though I think I agree that I had more trouble with Wind Waker, I probably died 3 or 4 times.

I agree that WW was harder. I have two reasons. Ok, there were a lot of harmful enemies in TP, but still you didn't have to go through things like figthing five knights at the same time. Secound reason, I managed to clear TP without a walkthrough, I had more problems with WW.
Twilight Princess ,obviously. it had such a better feel and it was the most epic adventure game i have played in a while. it felt so free and just so...huge. u could go where ever, whenever, and not much stopped you. in WW, you can do that too, but u never wanted to...just sitting on the boat...watching seagulls fly by...blue after more blue....in TP you got to control a speeding horse and attack moblins along the way and jump fences along the way. puzzles were a lot more fun, i prefer the graphic style a lot more, pretty much everything in my opinion was better. the story was really amazing too, it wasnt even an RPG and it had me hooked. god_yggdrasil
Yeah, I agree and I couldn't have said it better. I would also like to add that Midna is he best of the characters that has appeared in only one game. She was hot, crazy, funny and powerful.
I liked TP better for a couple reasons. 1)Stupid triforce hunt in WW 2)TP had way cooler bosses 3) I found the dungeons to be more fun in TP as well 4)Stupid triforce hunt again....

I'm going to go out on a lumb here and guess that you didn't like the triforce hunt.
Which dungeons did you really like in TP? I found it to have some of the more interesting dungeons (Snowpeak Ruins and Arbiters Grounds) but most of them were pretty standard or even annoying (City in the Sky, with the exception of the boss)
