In Zelda Games, Do You Name Your Character "Link" and horse "Epona"?

I personally leave both names "Link" and "Epona". Always have and always will. To me, it just feels wrong doing it any other way.

Well we don't have the option for Epona yet so It's always been Epona for me :P I usually do my name instead of Link on the first playthrough but that will change with Twilight Princess.

I keep them "Link" and "Epona" as well. It does just seem weird changing them.

I used to use my own name but starting with Minish Cap I went with the classic which I think I will be doing from now on. So I don't really know how to vote :P

I keep my name "Link" but we never had an option for Epona and if we did I would put Epona.

I've kept the name link from the first zelda game and kept doing it throughout the entire series to date. The same will go for epona too. I personally think it would be wierd to have my name or any other names in the story lines.

I'm  a bit traditional, and like to keep the official names.

...But if I had the chance, I'd change Zelda's name to:  Princess Sexay!

Have your own name be Zelda and have Zelda's name be Link the would make it all confusing. But for every Zelda game i have played its Always been Link. If we could choose a name for Epona in the other games it would still be Epona.

I always keep Link with his original through the first play of the game, then I rename him through other playthroughs, even going back to Link sometimes.  I'd do the same with Epona in TP.

I've only come across a few games where there isn't a known name for the characters you play. Secret of Mana being one of them. With games like Zelda, where you know the character's name is Link, it feels odd changing it. Besides, you get to avoid having your own name being made fun of. Heh! On a side note, though, in Final Fantasy VII, Aeris always gets a death or stabby-related name and Barret becomes Mr T. Is that wrong of me?
