is ocarina as in ocarina of time pronounced (orc-a-rina), (ac-a-rina), (o-car-ina)

hey i pronounce it as (oc a rina) say the whole word togather ocarina oc a rina

I've always used (o-car-ina) but I couldn't tell you the 'real' pronunciation.

aw-ka-rina for me :P I don't like the oh-ca-rina pronounciation but it's probably right :P

i have always said o-ca-rina.. dont know if it is the right way to pronounce it.. but it seems like the most ligical way to say it to me

everyone has the same idea but just different spellings ( nucks is most acurate spelling)

i usually pronounce it Oc-a-rina. where's a Totoro when you need him... though he probably would just yawn at you.

Well believe it or not, all three pronunciations are correct, I've done extensive research on it (Basically because I was board one day after I beat LoZ OT) But the one most commonly used is "Oc-a-ri-na"

Oca is Italian for Goose, and was used in this sense because the shape of the mouthpiece resembled a goose beak.

my friends and i say aw-ka-rina but if it is said some other way i do not think most people care.
