Sorry if this is old.
Here is the music to the Hyrule theme in the upcoming Zelda game:

The song starts out like the OOT theme, but then it becomes 'too happy' - especially for a dark toned game.
It almost sonds like a song you would find in the Pokemon Stadium games..!

Actually, I'm beginning to like it. I've listened to it a few times now and it's not too bad. I still hope there is something better for the overworld theme though(namely the actual Zelda theme). The bit I don't like is the beginning, the OoT part...that is a bit maddening. Still, it's a nice piece to listen to.

It's quite a nice song.
It just doesn't sound as orchestral as the songs usually are..
Anybody get my drift?

Leads me to think it's fake. Nice none-the-less

Really? It just doesn't seem right to orchestrate some parts and then have this example here playing somewhere, because it doesn't sound right... It'll work no matter what, but just hearing this and knowing that parts of it will be orchestrated I'd feel a little disappointed if they used this.

It's Okay, but its just a OoT Overworld remix theme really, if Nintendo does look at these forums then they better take are advice and change that abit, the beginning is okay but its those pipes sounds, they are horrible lol.

I dont think it is good at all. It only the oot theam just redone. And it is way way to happy for a game like this. This game almost seams sad then when you through the music into you would make it die a little.
I hope to god that isnt the music.

I have an update guys.

I posted the same info over at the Zelda boards, and I felt the flames for that one!
The guys there believe that music was taken from the DS Zelda demo cartrige...
I hope they are right..!

Rofl. No. It's not taken from the DS cartridge. The only music on that is the music during the trailer. And there is someone else who played the Zelda demo...

I know that it is acutally the the stage select music from the E3 demo. However, I also can't confirm that it isn't the overworld music since a calm overworld scene wasn't shown at E3.
