They're CD-I games or something like that. Nintendo didn't produce them but I had no idea why Nintendo allowed the company that did make them release them.

Use Google if you want find more about them.

i found them on some site somewhere, i dont remember. All i know is that CD-I and Nintendo did strike a deal so that there would be a CD connecting thingy to the SNES like sega CD but when SEGA CD bombed, Nintendo ditched the idea and CD-I went solo. The 3 Zelda games were already being created so nintendo let them go ahead and make em. or something like that.

As I understood it, there was a big "oops" -- more or less, a licensing oversight--that gave them a bit too much room for Zelda franchise labelling on their software.

That site pretty much explains everything there is to know on those games, and also how the CD-i came to be. I always hate to associate those with the LoZ series in any way because they really were that bad (yes... sadly I know from experience because I played them)

Wand of Gamelon, Zelda's Quest or something like that, and another game were the games that so called "bombed"

Although Zelda's Quest (or something similar in name) Is actually become a collector's item because of its rarity

Yeah, they said they used actual people to make the cut-scenes. Nintendo really had nothing to do with the games did they?
