I don't think I would like to play as Ganondorf. That just seems odd. I would rather like to play as Zelda because she would actually help Link on his adventure.

I think it could make a great game. You could play as him while he was learning about the Triforce, getting information on it, artifacts and building his powers.
It would be a big change to make, it would definatley be cool to have more insight on Ganondorf and what he actually does while Link busys himself collecting medallions/stones/triforce peices. Probably would make for a very interesting game, Ganondorf is one badass enemy and would be a very cool character to control.
It would be weird like in Rogue Agent(James Bond) where you have to kill Link
or maybe it would be like Ganondorf teamed up with to kill a even stronger meniace

Well apparently the character Midna (TP) is Evil and you have to pair up with her/him in order to fight a 'greater evil' so it could work something like that.
It would be weird like in Rogue Agent(James Bond) where you have to kill Link

I think that, if anything, it should be a bonus quest, like Ada's Mission from RE4. Otherwise, it would take away from the Legend of Zelda feel.soupjhhs

Well, in order to move forward, things must change. It wont make the game bad, it will just fill out the story and Ganon is a well known and well liked villain so it would sell. And it gives the developers another direction to run to while they think of new ideas for the next adventure. Aonuma and Shiggy need some time to let their creative juices start flowing again, Aonuma said he's just about out of Zelda game ideas with Link before, so it would be a good idea.
Nintendo could start a new studio and put them to work on this game under EAD's supervision. Shiggy would have them under his gaze at all times and it wouldn't be any more of a black sheep than AoL is.

that would be interesting but I think shiggy should focus his attention on a new franchise for us to love
I also dont think Link should be in it at all, just refer to my earlier idea. Have it set before OoT during Ganon's search for proof of the Triforce and its power.

However how about Ganondorf fighting hordes of monsters?

Anyway, there could be puzzles, if he is searching for artifacts or information, it can be hidden like Link's weapons. It could be basically the same except for attacks, motive, plot and some other small things.

ok, imagine a Devil May Cry game Nintendo Style or a Castlevania one :P
I think playing as Ganondorf could be really cool. Think about all the things that Ganon had to do to find Zelda in Ocarina of Time. The game could have Ganon building his evil empire. The battles he's had with the Hyrule warriors. Plus magic would play a big role in the game as well. He still rides the horse and has to capture Zelda. And he could also do battle with the legendary Sages and imprison them in the temples. Sounds like a pretty good idea to me. I would play just to see the other side of the story.
