What if they made an MMo / online console game based on legend of zelda...

^ if so I would wish for it to be 3D with TP graphics, I can just imagine a online version, with twice as many enemies due to multiple players, customizable tunics and such, and more challenging puzzles, and bigger (or multiple) bosses

Yeah, that would be cool. Also, the idea of having something like Phantasy Star Online would work well too. I'd join immediately, as long as they didn't have any subscription fees, which, knowing Nintendo, they wouldn't. How 'bout a couple of giant never ending conflicts, like the hylian warriors against the goblins. All the Hylians would be real players, and you could choose what type of soilder you wanted to play as, footsoilder, cavalry etc. and it would be a huge battle in the middle of hyrule feild with hundreds of hyrulian warriors and hundreds of goblins. Although having  500-odd NPCs being controlled by the server would be quite difficult, so maybe you could choose to join hyrulian or goblin forces!

And the same thing with metroid online!

now that i think about it having ganondorf appear suddenly during a massive battle to help out the bad guys or link riding in on epona to cut down a few goblins would be pretty cool, of course players wouldn't be able to control them
