You know,i was buying a new wii and the TP for it,but when i found out about Link being a right-handed swordsman,i changed my mind. What is Link without him being left-handed?I've been playing the OOT when i was only 6.They should stick to old times, and keep Link left-handed.Evey legend of Zelda fan is probally used to Link being left-handed.Thats all i have to say.And i'm new to this union,i just joined Oct,11,2006.i need time to get ready.

I'm also undecided into which version to buy; but you shouldn't change your mind just b/c of Link being right-handed:? I never thought it would be such a big deal...

Anyways, welcome!

I will eventually buy the Gamecube version of the game after it is released, but the only reason why I wont get it on the first day is simply because I will already be somewhat preoccupied with the Wii version by then. Now don't get me wrong because, just like you, I have been playing the Zelda series for as far back as I can remember and I also think that it will be nice to play it the "traditional" way. But on the other hand, I really can't wait to play the game with the Wii-mote setup and get a glimpse at the new direction in which the series seems to be heading.

I am getting the Gamecube version because I am not getting the Wii when it comes out. I may get it for Christmas from my family, or else I will buy it with gift card money. Then if I decide to re-play it, I will buy the Wii version of the game.

Well, I believe that everyone should be entitled to their own opinions. Just because something along those lines is fine with one person doesn't mean it's okay with someone else. I for one am not all that bothered by it, but if other people are then I don't see anything wrong with it whatsoever. :D

I was thinking of maybe getting it later on. I'm getting the Wii version first, but I wanna play this one because I heard it's mirrored. So it'll be cool playing it a little differently.

I don't plan on getting the Gamecube version. I'll definately be getting the Wii version and I don't have the kind of mine to spend $100+ on the same game. The only way I see myself picking up the Gamecube version is if there's something wrong with the Wii version.

I'm not.  I'm saving up for a Wii, and I will buy it for that.  Like I said to someone else, I'm giving my GC to my cousin. :P

There are a few things that bothered me about the Wii version. I wish you had the option to choose which control scheme you wanted; which controller you wanted to use (gamecube, wii, or virtual console), which hand you wanted link to fight with (right or left). If that were the case then I would definitely buy the Wii version above the Gamecube version. The mirrored didn't bother me other than it seemed a little tacked on at the last second. I am more excited for the next Zelda game for the Wii (you know that they mare making one). By then they will have figured out all of the kinks of this version and Will have perfected everything. Besides I was promised to be able to be able to "...step inside one more world for Gamecube."

I am. I won´t get the Wii just yet. I have preordered a ps3 so it´s difficult to explain another console purchase right now. But, since I´m a proud owner of a GC I can still enjoy Zelda TP. I preordered a copy of TP a couple of weeks ago.

I'm definately getting the GC version, because I don't have the dough for a Wii, nor do I think I'll get used to the whole interaction part.

I'll be getting both versions since, I preordered the gameube version more than a year ago. I just hope that with the mirror version on the wii that you will be able to switch the settings so that Link will use his left, because I'm left handed. In the case that there is no setting to switch hands I'll just have to use my right hand, which is fine I guess since I've learned how to use a mouse with my right hand.

I'll probably get the Wii version since for the first time I'm going to get a console so close to it's launch. Which will be for Christmas. The money I have been saving will go towards a DS Lite. :D
