Obviously, from my observation they did it just to.... in a sense... rip off customers. To be honest I dont think many people would have gotten the Wii version if the GCN version were to have been out the same day, so delaying the GCN version is just to insure that people will actually want and buy the Wii version. Obviously the game is finished, it is all just marketing
I think the main reason they delayed it is so that the Wii version will sell better. Even though it's only a few weeks hardcore Zelda fans that we're originally gonna but the Gamecube version will probably get the Wii version.
the wii version will sell and so will the gamecube version regardless of when its released but if they were released at the same time and the gamecube version sold more than the wii version which it may well do because there are more cubes then wii's then it might not look as good for the wii. also the wii will sell out within a week of launch and so will zelda(wii) and then with the release of the gamecube version it will help keep zelda on top of the charts and inturn help nintendo.
Definitely. I can't fault Nintendo for delaying the GC version...after all, they are first and foremost a business. Now, if they were to cancel it altogether, on the other hand.... *shakes fist wildly*
