NEW ZELDA: SO HARD YOUR BRAIN WILL MELT
Twilight Princess "more than you could possibly ever, ever, ever expect", according to character designer Yoshiyuki Oyama
11:42Damn you Nintendo . Damn you and your stirring spoon of tantilisation in our excitable anticipation tea. As if having to put our Zelda: Twilight Princess clamourings into stasis, thanks to the game's delay, the company continues to tease us with morsels of information clearly designed to whip us up into such a frenzy that we gnaw straight through our own brain sticks to stop thinking about it.
Latest news on Nintendo's upcoming Zelda GameCube title comes straight from the horse's mouth. Assuming Yoshiyuki Oyama, the game's character designer, was actually a horse, with a talking mouth. Zelda website TheHylia.com has transcribed an interview from the latest Nintendo Power in which Oyama reveals new tidbits on the game's storyline:
Furthermore, dispelling fears that the next Zelda game could follow in Wind Waker's challenge-deficient footsteps, Oyama explains that enemies in the game will be much tougher this time around: "How will my monsters ensure that Twilight Princess is the greatest Zelda game ever? Wait and see. You won't be disappointed." Even boss battles are set to surpass previous Zelda outings, meaning we should see an end to Nintendo's classic three-to-six hit weaklings.
Okay, so in the grand scheme of things, it's still not much to work with, but hey - any new Twilight Princess info is appreciated at this point in time. Now, Nintendo, how about that release date, pretty please?
